Went to 5 Stones to view a unit, facilities , landscaping. Below is what I observe:
1) The lobby is nicely done with artistic scupture. In order to access the lobby lift area, you will require to have owner access card
2) The lift will only bring you directly to your unit
3) At the unit itself, it is nicely done no defects. The main door is high quality security door. But the rest of the door are those cheap flush door
4) The layout of the unit is not so proportionate, too many rooms, thus causing the living room and masterbedroom relatively small.
5) The fridge given is Samsung french door type
6) The timber floor in the bedroom is very light color (should be oak) which I find that could be difficult to maintain
7) The swimming pool area is nicely done. Quite a big size of 25m pool. There are many resting chairs populated around the swimming area.
8) There are 2 gym center as part of their facilities. 1 is facing the swimming pool directly and the other one at the other block. Many gym equipment available. The gym room is nicely done with wide open glass windows
9) Landscaping is fantastic! For 1 acres land, SDB can really turn this into beautiful surrounding. They even tilt the garden surface...But the trees is not fully mature yet.
10) The kids playground is one of the best i ever seen. Its kids heaven. The playground will splash water like water playground. The surface is soft, not to worry kids will get injure if fall to the ground
11) The function hall is really high end type, very cosy feeling. Easily can put 10 tables i guess.
12) Below the function hall is an integrated 2 badminton hall, futsal hall , 2 ping pong hall, 1 basket ball court. High ceiling and big size of hall to enjoy!

Why not? Just called up an agent, tell them you very interested getting a unit there...they are more than happy to bring you around haha

Windows on the park was nicely planned with greenery environment, I was considering this as my homestay too.
Heard SDB's a great deveploper, so i did some google about their newly completed project 5 Stones@ss2.

But heard some ppl from PropertyWTF complaint about its quality not up to their expectations.
by getting to know their previous projects, so we as the potential customers can roughly know if they can wil deliver what they promise for WOTP~

Well, some people is setting the expectation too high. Some even complaint why the pool is not olympic size, 50m haha. Overall 5 Stones is nicely done project in my opinion. SDB is spending good efforts esspecially on the common area. Some are complaining the trees not mature...but when think of it, how can a tree be mature in 1-2 months time? Need some time lo....

Windows on the Park swimming pool will be 50m, Olympic size. People are complaining about the trees as some developers plant it first somewhere else 3 years earlier when the development started and move it over when its done, trees are all tall, strong and fat. People complaining about the hall too, the furnitures are cheap looking. Did you take any photos there, maybe share with us here?

Ceiling heights, small room, quality of doors (not maindoor) also been complained by residents, this might made WOTP buyers worried too.
Anyhow it's a good guidelines for buyers to confirm with SA again on this proj.

Well, I dont took any photos during my visit. About the cheap furniture in function hall, I dont really look into it, probally I missed out haha. But the hall is nice ....For WOTP, I'm wondering how SDB going to deal with those big trees? From the brouchure, they are saying will plant rainforest tree like nyatoh, coconut tree, merbau....i"m wondering how they would transfer it to the side upon completion haha...interesting to see in 3 years time...

Small rooms and cheap looking door is true....but i expect it already since in the spa, it did not mention solid door, it stated flush door. Planning to change it over

How do your guest come visit you? You have to bring them up from lobby?

Yes, you have to bring them up from lobby. The visitor pass will not be able to have lift access

I think the security arrangement is such that even a neighbour from a different level (same block) wishing to visit you will have to meet you at the lobby waiting area so that you can bring him or her to your unit.

Little bit inconvenient but I suppose there is always a trade off between convenience and security......

You nailed it on the head - "trade off". In the past, I don't fancy condo as ppl do not have the right mind set for condo dwelling. I have seen so many good and nice security fixture/equipment in many condo being vandalised in the name of convenience. Let's hope ppl who bought WOTP come with right mind set.

Guys, there's a new condo coming up next to Carrefour/Big Aeon called Vina by Mitraland. Similar concept as WOTP, it seems all new condo in BTHO is copying WOTP including Casa Green..

This one is behind the hills in front of WOTP lah.

No access road from WOTP. Same area as new one - Casa Green.

Each targeting different market lor. But in terms of access road, WOTP is the best, as it has four lane road, all the way to MRT station, whereas those two, a bit susah lah.

Go WOTP.

I think they are more powerful... 4 acres of green,... forest run... not park yea... read it... forest... olympic size pool....
