You nailed it on the head - "trade off". In the past, I don't fancy condo as ppl do not have the right mind set for condo dwelling. I have seen so many good and nice security fixture/equipment in many condo being vandalised in the name of convenience. Let's hope ppl who bought WOTP come with right mind set.

The premium units at ground floor are really nice. Just like in a resort with trees and foot path just outside the units. Wondering why they are not hot items.

I think that is the older day. Now with this green thing and especially with WOTP concept, one might want to take advantage of this green thing and have the SDB's unique designed premium unit - combining landed and condo world - against SDB's promise that they will diligently enforce the mutual covenants against owners/tenants that have poor civic mindedness. One SA told me SDB will even control what type of lighting one can put at the balcony! Lastly, before you jump the gun, I am not a premium unit owner - can't afford it.

Maybe is due to the FIC restrictions, guideline on the property acquisition. Perhaps, rotan can enlighten us. 
VI. RESTRICTIONS
10. Foreign interest is NOT ALLOWED to acquire:
10.1 Properties valued less than RM500,000 per unit;
10.2 Residential units under the category of low and low-medium cost as determined by the State Authority;
10.3 Properties built on Malay reserved land; and
10.4 Properties allocated to Bumiputera interest in any property development project as determined by the State Authority.

Not sure whether block c will fail within the definition of category of low and low-medium cost or not. But Block C is medium cost right???

There isn't much different for block C whatever you called it. The new threshold for foreigners is now RM1m. Block C got to wait a long long time before exceeding that ceiling. doh.gif
