Same here. affected only one of my two PCs using USB Wifi adapter. I think is channel problem but I solved the problem with the switching the USB Wifi adapters between the two PCs. LAN and Wifi for mobile devices no problem.
The affected USB Wifi adapter can connect to wifi when plugged into the switched PC. weird  hmm.gif

Just received a call to re-confirm the installation date & time.
Specifically tell both TM & Maxis Engineer to COME ON TIME.
The person also admit it was issue in the early phases.... he says now is much better.

for me, Maxis guy was wearing a Maxis t-shirt...but he did say he's from a contracted company to install...not direct from Maxis.

TM guys were not in uniform. And all using normal cars.

I now have to switch the ONT and Thomson in stages before i can get a connection. I used to switch them both at the same time and I'd get connected in 2 to 3 minutes. I hope it's not a sign of either one failing haha..

I believe the ONT must be turned on first, followed by Thomson Router

yeah i agree completely. just that turning both on at the same time worked flawlessly for about a week before.
It's not an issue anyway.

Take ages to talk to a Maxis customer service personnel to speak on my issues.

The service personnel insisted on a me-at-home and technical-people-call-u scenario to do the so-called troubleshooting. I told the service personnel that the ONT is not powered, and the only diagnostic to be done is press the on-off switch of my electric socket. The maxis peep say sorry but nothing can be done. Sigh!!

I'm not questioning the word "perpetual".
This line item can be easily "go missing" and blame system error hahahaha.

Just for people to take note only....

I registered on the last day of the RM118 package offer. I haven't receive any calls about my installation date.
How long does it normally takes?
Should I call them and what's their number?

It took me 3 weeks before someone confirms my installation date and close to 5 weeks to get my installation done.

It might be Maxis DNS server causing issues. The sad thing is, you can't change the DNS on Thomson router smile.gif
