Perhaps it may be because of the other computer running all the activities (torrent, PPS, streaming), it sucks all the bandwidth and causes bottleneck on the router and therefore other computer unable to resolve the dns with all the ongoing heavy activity. Possible? have you check and troubleshoot?

Theoretically thomson don't do the DNS translation, just passing packets in and out of port 53 right? smile.gif

That's a known issue for those who request for public IP(Late informing and without informing).
Just change your account ID from <username>@home.maxis.com.my to <username>@public.maxis.com.my in the Thomson router in order to connect when the public IP is ready.

What other charges is shown ?
Does Maxis Charge FTTH @ RM218 and give discount RM100 = RM118 ????
Then this is rather bad

It show the period 2/7/2012 - 9/7/2012 = RM58.13 (my installation date 2/7/2012)
Thn bottom under discount & Rebate, RM100 Perpetual Discount = -RM56.67

I think is what you say, RM218 - RM100. What is bad?

Means Maxis can remove the Perpetual Discount whenever they like and we pay RM218 from then on....
Not very good to customers... but smart of Maxis as usual.

I'm not questioning the word "perpetual".
This line item can be easily "go missing" and blame system error hahahaha.

Just for people to take note only....

Same here. affected only one of my two PCs using USB Wifi adapter. I think is channel problem but I solved the problem with the switching the USB Wifi adapters between the two PCs. LAN and Wifi for mobile devices no problem.
The affected USB Wifi adapter can connect to wifi when plugged into the switched PC. weird hmm.gif
