It took me 3 weeks before someone confirms my installation date and close to 5 weeks to get my installation done.

It might be Maxis DNS server causing issues. The sad thing is, you can't change the DNS on Thomson router

It might be Maxis default DNS which is not resolving these websites. Try and change the DNS server to 8.8.8.8 (I'm able to view the sites you mentioned by changing the DNS).

MyLaunchPad seems to come out randomly once in a while out of nowhere!

Does anyone knows how to change the IP Address and turn off DHCP for this Thomson router please?

Anyone having issues with G-arena and BF3? The latency (ping) seems to be very high. WTF is happening?

No ideas WTF is wrong with MAXIS. The connection is like sh!t today.

I think it makes sense because during the whole afternoon to evening it was alright. 9PM onwards the connection became crap until now. When I try to ping others in G-arena, I get 100+ ping instead of usual 0-30 only.

Did you guys call Maxis and make a report? If not they would think their Internet is working fabulously.

It's only beginning of the month and they are doing maintenance until end of the month so this means it'll be a whole month to do it? That's crazy!

They will pick up but it's better if you call after peak hours, e.g. after 9PM.

Are you a Maxis mobile user? Calling from handphone with "123" is easier to get compared to the normal line. They give priority to Maxis users.

I had the same problem. When I first got it, everything was blazing fast but last week, I start to encounter these problems:

1. Ping to Singapore server is very bad, can't play BF3 and flying spaghetti monster happily
2. Frequent disconnection, connection drops

Called Maxis and made a report last Monday but still no resolution from them. Normally I call using "123" from my mobile phone and during off peak hours it's easy to get through.

You can try posting in Maxis forums also. I believe Maxis knows about the issue but is keeping quiet and not updating customers on what they are doing to resolve the issue.

Currently my ping to most players in G-arena is 250ms-300ms. This seems to be so much WORSE than my Streamyx previously. I can't even play a few games of DOTA after work. This sucks!!!

Everyone is having the same problem. I can't even play DOTA with my Maxis line. By name it's 10MB Fiber but the latency is horrible.
