the tm contractor offer RM380 for the installation
because they say the cable need cross over ceiling...
(external box straight into ceiling, then come out to 2nd floor living room)
then after nego with them, discount to rm200
and the receipt i get is jor normal receipt, not from TM or Maxis,
duno kena con or non standard installation...

if u pay to the contractor, it is their "profit"
if to TM or MAXIS, included in the 1st bill..
i paid rm70 for additional 10m of fibre cables to the contractor coz dont want to pay rm100 to maxis..
hahahaha..
so the receipt u get is the normal receipt u can purchased at book stores..
this is called "contractor cari makan" same as "polis cari makan"

auto disconnect? take how long to connect back? my suddenly can't connect, almost 2 hours, still can't connect, plug in network cable also cannot, is it maxis problems? anyone can't connect at kepong area(desa aman puri)?

pay for them is not the problem...
i just scare after paid RM200 for those contractor
then month end come a bill again from maxis charge me installation fees AGAIN ...

if this happen everyday, then i must die lor, call cs need wait 1/2 hours ler...

my ping to sgix singapore yielded 195ms just now. not that i really care, but still there is something wrong with the routing.

serious question here, how come my torrents so slow? just now downloaded a file with just 250kBps average speed  should i port forward? (i'm on private ip though)

btw, i didn't get charged for extra cabling. by my estimates the cabling was at least 25 meters long, but the technicians just wrote down 15m in the form

I don't know. I got accepted under under the RM118 promotion.
Installation later this month.
I still can cancel it.
So for the next few days I'm going to keep a close eye on this thread.

Will everything be better if they give us a new improved router?
Because it seems that the only problem is the router.

What did Maxis say about your problem?
How will they solve it?

I'm trying to see if many more people face the same problem as you.
