Yeap~ I agree with this. Initially, I was not intent to change my ride this year, was thinking to change only next year. But then only just happen to drop by to Honda show room to just have a view on the new Civic with my wife. Totally disappointed!!  :stars: My wife just said why not we go take a view on Elantra also. Then we go to Hyundai. (Please note we only just wanna free viewing  :w without the mind to changing the ride).
There is a Peugeot show room beside Hyundai then we drop by to view on this beauty. Touch touch see see then we go home, and... I got poisoned.
After got home, I asked my wife like this car or not, she said yes. Then we did a test drive the next day. At then end, we made the decision to change my ride! :flex:

It's plug and play OEM, but how can we so sure the warranty won't be voided. As I know, for every little single wiring you did on your car, it will be recorded in ur car's system. When they connect your car to their system, they will know what you have done to the wiring, even a small little burb you changed in your car.

funny thing i read on peugeot malaysia's fb. 'someone' (roy lim and sherona fung) who obviously have no idea about peugeot history says peugeot shouldn't be called 'pug' and takes offence to being called 'pug fans'. the thing is, this term is used by pug fans (or peug fans to those who hv no inkling to the term) the world over!! probably new gen peugeot owners.

Hi you guys know where is the radio antenna of the 408? Cause i can't seem to find mine on the roof. Must be using some internal one? Does any of you facing any loose parts at the top part of your tyre? those tools to change tyre...cause i have a few tools that does not fit properly and it will move and potentially drop down if i hit a hump really hard

Only RM 400 service per 10,000km ( or 3 months which ever come first ). Where got Gucci/LV handbag cost that little. Hehe..Maintainence cost are worth paying vs the luxury moments on ride. The only thing that cost me headache is service appointment within mileage without voiding warranty. Feel worse than my own body check-up.

10K km or 3 months which ever come first?? Is this confirm? rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

By the way any estimated maintainence cost intervals for 408 turbo? I only show at Glenmarie showroom for 80K, it will cost 3.6K for turbo

Bro Kenso has put up an article regarding the current hype on proposal to reduce car price.

http://www.kensomuse.com/reducing-the-pric...it-affects-us/#

For us Pug owners, we've bought our car not because resale value, so maybe this will not affect us much but in a bigger picture, the effect is quite huge, especially when 'The G' is trying to compensate their loss on car tax on other sector.

This is very general question and the answer has far fetching implications. I know business implication are grave and immence. I believe the government of the day will come with a workable rescue plan. It may not be a 100% cure,I have no idea. Not to get too long winded,I'm going to keep the answer to how I will be affected.
Although I bought my car 2 months ago and reduced tax will drop valve of my car drastically, I'm for the move. Peugeot has never had good resale valve in Malaysia. All of us buy the car knowing this. We buy this car for it has to offer, not how much we can sell it for later. Unfortunately this move of reducing tax will further drop the valve of my car. I'm not going to drool over it but when the time come to sell,I'll write it off on the years of pleasure of ownership of a great car.
On the positive side, due to reduced tax,my next ride will be a even greater one!
As for the proposal of reducing tax, yes I'm all for it!

I believe most of us all for the tax reduction, moreover us Pug owners hence my statement that it will not affect us much as we're not buying this car because of resale value. What I'm implying is even if it will be implemented in the near future, we may be imposed with another form of tax for the government to compensate with this income loss. Anyway, it should be discussed in another topic altogether, not here.

Also read the test drive review of the new Ford Focus here http://www.kensomuse.com/the-new-ford-focu...ied-and-tested/.

One of the car that falls under my radar is this Ford Focus but decided to go for 408 as I foresee that the price will not fall within my budget. The spec is impressive (especially on the safety features) but most of the goodies such as Active City Stop, Blind Spot Information System and most importantly for me, cruise control, is only available on Plus variant. Even some of the features which are available on 408 2.0 such as auto headlamp and wiper is not being made available on standard spec.

From the estimated selling price of this Focus, I would say I'm satisfied with my choice eventhough the design of this Focus makes me drool.gif

Back to topic then,

Is anyone had apply Sierraglow coating here?
How much and will it void the paint warranty?
I just had my car recently and I am not sure I should apply now or few years later.

I've applied Sierraglow on my ride and I've paid RM750 for it. Not sure about the warranty though. If you want to apply coating, you should do it on a new paint job or IMO it will defeat the purpose of doing a coating, which is to protect the paint. Within few years, scratch will surely appear (at least hairline scratches) and most importantly is the effect of oxidation on the paint.

From my limited observation, grey colored cars will not have much of the 'shiny' effect of this coating though but same level of protection of course.

Me too applied Sierraglow. Not much different from original paint except the beaded water after raining. It's easier to wash though...
