Went to Puchong and Glenmarie Peugeot show room for 408 and was told that Grey and Bronze colour has discontinued. Why?

I quite like the Grey colour and still waiting if they will release it back soon. Else I've to settle with silver then

Planning to get 408, but reading comment by Sky Yong makes me worried.
Not sure what happen to his car and what has been done.

10K km or 3 months which ever come first?? Is this confirm?

By the way any estimated maintainence cost intervals for 408 turbo? I only show at Glenmarie showroom for 80K, it will cost 3.6K for turbo

Huh... following Hyundai Elantra footstep?
Normally by end of the years most of the car brands will give promo as people will wait for next year manufacturing date, no?

What makes you choose Elantra compared to 408? Care to share?

I'm actually looking for new ride for my wife but comparing Ford Focus titanium to Peugeot 408 NA. Since I'm planning to get 2013 car as well, I'll go for few more rounds of test drive before deciding

I have yet to test drive Elantra but went to show room to see the car. Tested Focus last weekend and few rounds of test drive in 408T and 408NA previously. Posted in forum but seems like the people are comparing Ford Focus with Elantra (out of topic )

So far here is what I feel (my own opinion):

Pro and Cons (408)
- Nice front feline design
- spacious for rear passenger
- rear air con blower
- Auto-cruise control
- Comfy and nice door rest for long distance cruising
- 17" rims inclusive of spare tyre/rim

- Major service 60K pricy and complaints about after sales service
- Rear light design slightly out (my opinion only )
- Car player so so - with amber display
- standard gear

Pro and Cons (Titanium)
- Powerful TI VCT engine with dual clutch auto
- Torque vectoring and ESP
- Push start button
- Fuel saving Technology - EcoMode and Active Grille
- 5 years warranty with 3 years maintenance free

- Feel more narrow and limited space inside
- Design acceptable but not stunning (my opinion only )
- 16" rims with metal spare rim
- No rear air con blower

The likes and dislikes are almost the same for both cars, which makes it more difficult for me to decide

Need the new car for my wife by Jan 2013. Forte K3 will not be launch by then

New Camry 2012 still using 2.0L VVTI with 4 speeder while price is RM 149,900 ?

I believe that's for 408T 80k km service - was shown at Glenmarie showroom the periodic service with estimate pricing.

By the way 408 NA owner, how much is the 10K service? $$$

Received call from SA too, the 5K off + Free insurance and roadtax is only for 408T.
No 5K off for 408 NA

the additional 5K promo is for car register till end of this month... that's only 8 days to go

408 T - RM 5K + RM3395 + RM90 ~ RM 8485

Same here... and with the offer, might switch to 408T now

Made up "our" mind already... it's 408 NA
but now with additional discount for 408 T ....hmm seems like that's more worth it

Actually I've checked with few of my 2nd hand car dealer friends on the differences between Nov/Dec car with Jan (new year car) for Peugeot. Many of them told the difference should not be more than RM 5K as when they take the car, the month is also taken into consideration (only for year end car).

Not sure how true is that....

From sales perspective that's true but from "one" of the branch, remaining 408 NA unit is lower than turbo unit.
Just booked 408T and 408NA last Sunday

Offer is just too good for us Trade in value comparable or even more than those selling direct to buyer
