QUOTE(jessyeo @ Aug 22 2012, 07:07 PM) Only RM 400 service per 10,000km ( or 3 months which ever come first ). Where got Gucci/LV handbag cost that little. Hehe..Maintainence cost are worth paying vs the luxury moments on ride. The only thing that cost me headache is service appointment within mileage without voiding warranty. Feel worse than my own body check-up. 10K km or 3 months which ever come first?? Is this confirm? By the way any estimated maintainence cost intervals for 408 turbo? I only show at Glenmarie showroom for 80K, it will cost 3.6K for turbo |

Huh... following Hyundai Elantra footstep?Normally by end of the years most of the car brands will give promo as people will wait for next year manufacturing date, no? QUOTE(kejusan @ Sep 21 2012, 01:09 AM) With the hype that Elantra is having, I find it weird that their presence on the road is not significantly noticeable. And their price has already been increased only after few months of launching. I have yet to test drive Elantra but went to show room to see the car. Tested Focus last weekend and few rounds of test drive in 408T and 408NA previously. Posted in forum but seems like the people are comparing Ford Focus with Elantra (out of topic Do share your opinion after driven the Ford Focus and 408NA. http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2513574 So far here is what I feel (my own opinion): Pro and Cons (408) - Nice front feline design - spacious for rear passenger - rear air con blower - Auto-cruise control - Comfy and nice door rest for long distance cruising - 17" rims inclusive of spare tyre/rim - Major service 60K pricy and complaints about after sales service - Rear light design slightly out (my opinion only - Car player so so - with amber display - standard gear ----------------------------- Pro and Cons (Titanium) - Powerful TI VCT engine with dual clutch auto - Torque vectoring and ESP - Push start button - Fuel saving Technology - EcoMode and Active Grille - 5 years warranty with 3 years maintenance free - Feel more narrow and limited space inside - Design acceptable but not stunning (my opinion only - 16" rims with metal spare rim - No rear air con blower The likes and dislikes are almost the same for both cars, which makes it more difficult for me to decide |

QUOTE(joeaggas @ Nov 14 2012, 11:24 AM) Thanks jfcheong and skyjack. Wow summons! The road will be more dangerous, now. It is this pug408 vs ford focus. Too bad Ford Focus didn't come with ecoboost, else my choice will be it. Yeh test drove pug at Bangsar branch and went on mahameru on a public holiday (long weekend). SA allowed me to flat it, it was exhilirating. The power kept on coming at the will.of.my foot and cabin space is impressively the signature of a peugeot + 6 airbags, for that price..unbelievable. the drawback.is service maintenance which I read will be 3.6 to 4k per year whereas Ford offers Parts &Labor free maint. I believe that's for 408T 80k km service - was shown at Glenmarie showroom the periodic service with estimate pricing. Current Pug specifically 408, how's ur maint total so far? By the way 408 NA owner, how much is the 10K service? $$$ |

Actually I've checked with few of my 2nd hand car dealer friends on the differences between Nov/Dec car with Jan (new year car) for Peugeot. Many of them told the difference should not be more than RM 5K as when they take the car, the month is also taken into consideration (only for year end car).
Not sure how true is that.... Boleh percaya kah? This post has been edited by Kanasai79: Nov 22 2012, 04:04 PM |

QUOTE(lowpro @ Nov 27 2012, 02:19 PM) the 2.0 vs turbo in sales is very close to half each with the turbo edging slightly ahead. that proves that the 2.0 represents pretty good value as well not only in comparison to its direct competitors but also the turbo. From sales perspective that's true but from "one" of the branch, remaining 408 NA unit is lower than turbo unit. Just booked 408T and 408NA last Sunday Offer is just too good for us |
