They do have temporary cars for use. But not everyone seems to able to get hold of it. The excuse is that all cars are taken. The real situation is NASA's customer service sucks. They are always late in taking remedial steps. Remedies on the whole are only feeble. With Peugeot France coming in a big way in Malaysia,I was under the impression things would improve at NASA. Unfortunately nothing much has changed. 
It is indeed sad to see this attitude,especially since we are the customers who are putting food on their table! 

I just did a quick run with the car...im not sure if its the rear suspension or axel causing the noise.....the noise is on and off...happen during sudden break....sudden darting forward or left and right turning

Sorry for the false alarm....just came back from SC...they found that a part from the top of the spare tyre somehow dropped into the boot. It sounded more like a suspension problem then a knocking metal problem  thats why i was very concerned just now....thanks for the advice!

If you're talking about repair on hairline scratches, yes they could do it. I've got few scratches on my fender, not sure where or when I pick that up, and they've managed to find and repair it. But for scratches that have gone through all the layers of coating, I don't think anyone is able to repair that. And then they will apply this coating on plastic, chrome, rims, windows and steel.
He quoted RM800 initially, but maybe because I'm the first 408 that came into his shop, I managed to get RM750. 

The best FC observed so far is 10.9 l/100km and that's city driving going back and forth through USJ with a lot of traffic light. And mine is 2.0. Any 2.0 owners would like to share their FC as of now?
From Peugeot's website, you can go either to JB or Muar, but maybe you can check with your SA if there're any SC in BP. You should get free vouchers for first inspection and 10k service in your service booklet.

Also, anyone here got their 5 years warranty certificate when collecting your 408? Because Seremban SC want to see the cert as part of their record and I couldn't provide it to them becoz I received none.

I have not told them anything as I have not gone for my 1st inspection.  I got my car from HQ NAZA Pj. When HQ itself does not issue any additional paperwork what are these fellows barking about. Do they even know what constitutes a certificate of warranty. If they are wanting an additional piece of paper,wait till I see them! The warranty certificate we have got is legal tender. It has all the ingredients to make it legal tender! I'd like to see them face to face on this. I'll get to the bottom of this when I see them.

Like to hear from our bros here,if any one was issued a separate certificate of warranty apart from the 3 booklets?

Sorry, no info on the FC because I've not had the liberty of being given the media car yet. As for the maintenance, the RM3,600 for 60,000km is correct.

Your case is same as mine, tight budget to go for 408T. But I didn't regret buying the 408NA either 

To your query about the FC for 2.0, for 10% hway + 90% town driving, I get around 10.7 - 10.9 l/100km. For 90% hway, the best FC observed is 7.9 l/100km. Like SKYJack said, it mostly depends on how you drive. But then again, if you're stuck in traffic jam, 1.6 turbo will consume less fuel for sure.

Do they mention where do they obtain the magical number and why doesn't that mentioned in any form of documents for users to refer to? Do they also present any guideline on how should the car be driven during the break-in period?

If what they claim is true (6000km for break-in period), then this really pisses me off as no info was given to us regarding this. This should've been in the 'Getting Started' section of the manual.. 

I think 600km la,the additional 0 might be typo error! 6000km just doen't make sense. Even it was stated in the manual,I would question them if it is printing error!
This not my 1st car,but 1st time to hear 6000km break in!!!

With Peugeot's manual being silent on this,I would agree with you. This is a good and safe practice.Any turbo torque one wants to experience,maybe after 1000km.

Hi you guys know where is the radio antenna of the 408? Cause i can't seem to find mine on the roof. Must be using some internal one? Does any of you facing any loose parts at the top part of your tyre? those tools to change tyre...cause i have a few tools that does not fit properly and it will move and potentially drop down if i hit a hump really hard

pm me the link too... thx.. before that, i also bought 1 bottle of permanon plantinium but no the set packet. it's really work.. my car look wet and shine...do you got water mark after water drop on it?? me got.. but easily to wash out.

Front and rear axels,including brake systems, on  the 408t are heavier built in order to provide sufficient stoping power  for the THP.

Have been on Esso all this while but am about to switch over to Pertonas. Purely for convenience as Petronas is nearest to my house. Glad to note you are happy with Pertonas for your THP. Never really bothered about FC,quite satisfied with the THP
