It totally depends on the person consuming them. I would choose 'pre-made' pre workout rather than mixing them on my own. I think that the main reason that somebody will mix their own ingredient is their dislike some of them or want more of them in their pre workout; or it's much cheaper.

Following the given direction on the bottle is the best way IMO. The company make the supps so they should know better right? Unless there is a scientifically proven way of using them differently.

IMO. creatine doesn't give direct impact on the body for it to be included in a pre workout. The creatine that you're going to use for your current workout is the one that is already 'sit' inside your muscles.
