yes..or milk shake just same taste?..for me totally no different..

If you mix it with milk, the taste will be much richer. Texture will be creamier too. Wouldn't mind drinking that for fun (for the taste) if it wasn't so expensive.

So the best bet is to buy combination of whey & casein in a tub rite? What brands got such combination? Thanks.
*
Protein blends dude. Examples are like Optimum Nutrition's Nitro-Core 24, or BSN's Syntha-6, there are others out there as well, just need to look.

Hey guys, a quick question about pre-workout supps.

Question is will my mind get used to the supplement's energy boost, and if I stop using it, will I feel lethargic? I guess it's natural and obvious that you'll feel physically lethargic/less energetic once you go off it, but then will a mental dependency be there?

Anyone with insight or experience on this?

It's like coffee. You get used to it, effect wears off and you have to go on a higher doze. You go off it, you go into withdrawal but you'll eventually go back to normal.

Lols, eventually. Thanks man!

Think we should give gannicholas the benefit of the doubt. IF his training and diet are already top notch, then maybe there's something wrong with the protein powder he's using, therefore justifying his question.

Anyway here's my reply to him, I'm on Syntha-6. Gains are alright I guess, could be better though, still trying to get my diet perfect.

Been using Craze for a couple of days now, and it's just not working for me. Find myself crashing after 90 minutes, which is just way too soon.

I have the Grape flavor, and it tastes horrid compared to USP Labs' Jack3D.

Another 43 scoops to go...

Hi there, I dont mean to be rude but if I can find out those answers, I wouldnt be asking for help. I just hope that someone with experience could teach me.

Not to discourage you or anything, but if you don't know what's the difference between whey and creatine, then I honestly think you'll be better off without it. Google both of those up (do not think there are any specific topics here which explains the uses/differences of either) and get some basic understanding of its uses and differences. Once you understand what they are for, then only decide whether you still need it or not.

In the mean time, make sure your diet is in check. After all, supplements are well, only to supplement.

any try on whey before? im burn my fat and get bulk up a little currently 85kg 175cm . this protein suitable for me?
*
If you want to slim down while gaining muscle mass, then yes. Since ON's Whey only has 120 calories/24g of protein per serving. Couple that to a clean diet and a good training program and you're good to go.

Hey guys, I will be transferring to the UK next month to complete my studies and I am wondering if anyone here knows where can I get cheap supplements (not that particular about the brands) while I am there.

Thanks!

I get mine from www.myprotein.com. Definitely not as cheap as supps back home in Malaysia but they're good value in the UK.
*
Haven't heard of the brand before, but if it is good enough for you, it should be for me! Hahaha. Thanks man. Which part of the UK are you in?

Would you recommend Syntha 6 ? Trying to hit my daily protein needs with supps.
*
I wouldn't. Although Syntha-6 tastes amazing, it has a lower protein/scoop ratio compared to others.

So basically you guys pick by comparing the price:protein/scoop ratio ?

Too headache to count for you. LOL. But here's what I do since I'm not THAT particular about anything else except protein amount. I take the price of the protein shake tub, and divide it by the number of servings. Compare how much it costs per-scoop with other brands, and sooner or later you'll find the most worth it one.
