Unifi is like prepaid. Beginning of month you receive bill. You pay for internet usage for coming month and call usage of previous month. Only for very first month, they charge you at the same time you pay for second month.

Example.

1/6/2012 you received email from TM attached with bill. in this bill, you pay for any usage for May and for internet fee for June. Get it?

When you first installed. Maybe 1/6 you installed. Then 1/7 you will receive bill charging you two months. You've already used internet for June. You pay for that. And then you need to pay for July. So you pay double for first month. Then next bill onwards, refer above.

How does mine work out... VIP5 (RM149), previously Streamyx RM88 user. Unifi installed on April 21.

On 16 June 2012, I was billed RM262... Meaning

May bill - Streamyx price (RM88)
June bill - Streamyx price (RM88) + July (RM88 x 3 = RM264)

Not sure if I received May bill, so perhaps didn't pay. rclxub.gif Is this correct if this is the case?

Yeah good suggestion since everyone is asking about billing. Will do a template when I find some time. Haha

I think over the phone should work as well. Last time on my pots phone, tm overcharge me due to their mistake in changing my package. I called to complain and ask them to revert back to my old package and rebate for all charges caused by the new package. They said OK and I get back the rebate a few months later.

I'm quite pissing off with Unifi lately. Last week one evening for some reason I can't connect to Unifi, so I was thinking to call CS, and the phone itself also got problem, can't call in and out although it has tone. Used my Maxis HP line to call and forever on hold, wasted credit for nothing. Connection back to normal on next day though.

And just now same thing happen again, no internet connection and phone wont work. Are they doing maintenance or what? Am I the one who's facing this problem?

This is not about rebate due to fault or billing error. It's about monthly RM2 rebate for autopay via credit card. For this I believe you have to go TMpoint to fill up the form.

Hi sifus,

I just have my unifi installed 5mbps line. I have been trying to run torrent to download movies but my pc keeps giving blue screen of death after 5 mins running the torrent and nothing else.

I haven't had this problem before as my pc is quite top in specs.

I fear it is the old wifi USB adapter I have been using. It is a 802.11G adapter from Aztech. Driver has never been updated since 2006 and there are no new drivers for it since.

Can some one help me out? I run out of ideas how to solve this issue.

Thanks!

BSOD... No idea how to help. Perhaps you should go somewhere else in lowyat to ask. Not quite related to Unifi. nod.gif

Why not verify your USB adapter whether it is the culprit by replacing it with wired connection and see if you have problem. Better still, uninstall it's the driver as well. If no more BSOD then you found your gremlin.

Thanks for the suggestion. My pc is too far away from the modem to have a wired connection. Will try see if the problem still persist.

The 802.11G adapter is sufficient for unifi speeds? I have been recommended to get 802.11N..

Any one can confirm?

Morning.

We can pay Unifi bills (RM149) at the TM Point ATM correct?
Like those at Celcom's Jalan Ampang.

Just memorize our account number?

Fussy to print bills each time.

not exactly true. what most importantly is % signal strength on receiving end. like for example with 90% strength on 802.11G. u get 52Mbps instead of 54Mbps. u note minor differences with speedtest.
