just now unifi cant connect to internet. . i tried reconnect & on/off router about 30 minuts.. now can online but with low speed. i wonder whats going on with the server?

Hi, would like to ask alll sifus here. How is the coverage for unifi within a single storey of 40x70ft(got wall in between)? Do I need any gadget to power the transmission? Since I've never use wifi before, I don't know if the signal is weak or strong. Please advise.

What will happen if diabled the DHCP function?

Then this is wired? I thought Unifi can use wireless so I can go anywhere with my laptop within 1000 sq ft...

Anyone faced this problem before?

My Astro (normal not byond) set top box is located close together with the unifi equipment, and two channels (CNN and another one which I can't recall now) are having "corrupted image" problems (basically unwatchable). All other Astro channels worked fine.

After a bit of consideration I decided to just test it by switching off the DECT (Motorola) phone power, and suddenly those "corrupted" channels started working 100% again.

 

They haven't implement. Guess they will do this when they implement quota. Erm... You can try use ddwrt firmware. But need some setup there to get unifi working... But it does show you your statistics on WAN usage which I believe doesn't count LAN usage.

I'm quite pissing off with Unifi lately. Last week one evening for some reason I can't connect to Unifi, so I was thinking to call CS, and the phone itself also got problem, can't call in and out although it has tone. Used my Maxis HP line to call and forever on hold, wasted credit for nothing. Connection back to normal on next day though.

And just now same thing happen again, no internet connection and phone wont work. Are they doing maintenance or what? Am I the one who's facing this problem?

hi all..i just got my unifi install today, but i face some issue regarding the STB device, when i enter to standby mode, i cant turn it on again unless i turn off the power and switch it on again...need hlp on this, is the device problem or? thx

Astro has to heavily compress to fit more channels. but then, if you're using HDMI on HyppTV and composite on Astro, that might cause huge differences.

I also realize that normal SD channels on the b.yond HD box is more crappy than the normal SD receiver box.
