Yesterday went to KLIAF, one thing that never failed to impress me in this kind of event is the buaya uncle who take shots of girls in weird pose i take their picture better than shotting the girls

I only take one picture then shamelessly go in front and ask for facebook contact

because there is a forumer in my facebook list always comment my drawing with ( Y ) ....
so i accidentally reminds him of this haha

Actually no right or wrong about cropping, although should try to avoid cropping out leg or hand, all body, but cropping at the right place is more important, e.g. dont crop out hand, arms, ankle, crotch, but ok to crop at waist level.

anyone know how much is the cost to replace nikon d3000 lcd?

fashion shots got ppl crop out hands etc.
depends what the ad wants to show.

ISO3200 on a D300s. Shot RAW, applied NR in LR3 then added fill light, that might explain the grain. I WANT A D700 (or even better a D3s lolol )

D3s is indeed tempting...

D700 is jz nice on d spot if is used on a big aperature lens...

Simple... frame your shot, then wave to the girl and start shooting ho ho ho... no need wait

i'm too shy to do like this la, i normally will go look for other girls to shot first instead of joining other photographers

want to ask how to improve my panning? i tried using zoom lens that day with slow shutter speed at 1/30, many picture appear blurred due to handshake, only some of this picture usable, but still quite blurry

lol why slow shutter? you know slow shutter is cost a lot handshake what.

either boost up ISO or wider open aperture to increase up your shutter speed lor.
if you shooting car la, if the subject so far should not be so much shallow DOF one

in day light and with your current D5100 should not be problem about grainy noise.

shutter speed to fast it will freeze the motion la, i want those panning effect to show the car is moving
