Self preference lo, maybe most people focus at the face and.. else where(?)... but I see it as a whole pix.
I think in the case of that particular photo, chopping the hand is not so good. If it was other pose, perhaps you can get away with chopping the hands. Like you said, depends on how the model was framed / composed.

You know that you can use the built-in flash on the D90 as a flash commander to your SB700, right? FOC.

Dear All,

do you all have any experience that sending camera for warranty without receipt, only with warranty card, is this acceptable?

i am planning to send my body to repair, there are water mark on the image sensor.

is it true that sending direct to PKNS at Petaling Jaya will be much more faster than BTS?

appreciate for your sharings and advice ^^

you lost your receipt?

based on budget eh? how much would i cost phottix strato 2? i currently have a budget below 180 for the trigger.

indeed built in flash can be used on sb700 but it cannot trigger other brand of flashgun without the trigger. i plan to set a foundation first before getting another cheapo flashgun.

anyway, beside the trigger question, anyone know how much would it cost to get an umbrella + stand? ( given i just put the flashgun + trigger to make it work ) or do i need some holder or something too?

sorry for asking a lot of question but it really would help me tremendously smile.gif

below rm180, yongnuo rf603.

sb700 can trigger other flashgun if they are set to optical trigger, of cos provided the other flashguns have that option.
once in awhile when im bored, i use my fuji x10 to trigger my nikon flashes.

if that picture show the hand in frame it will look more pleasant, if me i will do that, if i want to crop the hand i will crop until just before the elbow

sometime you doesn't need to show the face only, if can show the environment is great as well nod.gif
i dont think forming a team in this kind of event is a good idea, better just split up and go different section to get more shots, if stick together you all need to frequently check out on each other make sure everyone stay together, good for own safety but you wont be able to take much picture compare to when you are alone

that's just my assumption anyway, never went to this kind of events like bersih before

Heya smile.gif Your photos weren't bad either! Well, we did manage to go around a lot..mainly cause we were looking in vain for our friends! Say go Petaling Street near the arch, then look see look see cannot find, call also cannot get thru. In the end got fed up and just started shooting all the way, and tried to get ahead of the crowds whenever possible. Then we thought it was a good idea to head to Dataran, so we took the back alleys and bypassed the main crowd. Got right to the barricades. Saw the FRU and then we started to worry. GF saw hundreds of police behind the FRU =/ Then we left. Turns out 15 mins later teargas flew.

In this case we shot as a team of two. Got some similar things, but I had a lot more pano's, and GF had many more people shots. It was good cause we could keep an eyeout on each other. Got good got bad lah, shooting as a team smile.gif

I didn't manage to use my 80-200 much. I mainly used the 17-50 and got as close as possible!
