i think video for canon still superb...
as D800 video with high ISO kinda sucks...
and d ISO for 5dm3 is more or less on par with d3s...
jpeg if not mistaken...
check from dpreview...

Sent my whole set of gears to BTS for service...
Play with D800 & D4...
Kinda regretted as kena poison with D800 with it's details...
And ISO 12800 of D4 is more of less same with ISO 2000 of D700...

Maybe u can let us know ur preference length,or aperature...
And oso budget...
So that we can suggest u from there...

U can go for 16-85 if aperature is not a problem for u...
or a 17-50 f2.8 from Tamron...
dis is d 2 lens they usually upgrade from their kit-lens...

thinktank got a bag...
sling one dat can carry a body+ grip with a lens attached...
there r a few size...
from kitlens to 70-200mm size if not mistaken...
dat should be enuf for u...

btw...
d tint issue don't seem reasonable to me...
if the put it into a apple screen or those ultrasharp LED panel(forgot what they call)...
and d colour tone if d same...
it onli can say it's accurate...

14-24 F2.8 is not so flexible for normal occasion...
kinda hard for most of d ppl...
so i skip that and go 16-35...
but 14-24 is indeed a very very poisonous lens...
if nikon come out with a 16-35 F2.8 den will be perfect...

but it's very difficult to change lens...

D3s is indeed tempting...

D700 is jz nice on d spot if is used on a big aperature lens...

ytd i tried to use D7000 for low light shooting in the club...
ISO 1600 is barely usable...
and the AF speed is quite slow...
it makes me miss my D700 adi now...
