Shoot raw to be safe, sometime u got no 2nd or 3rd repeat shoot, if white balance lari then its hard to recover in jpeg, 16gb card can shoot 400-500 raw file, i dun think u will use it all for motorshow only?

QUOTE(freddy manson @ May 8 2012, 09:44 PM) yes, he asked which one is better.. Thank or thr answer, so u mean that variaND will give less IQ compare to fix ND?i dunno also.. better for pocket or better quality or better in other terms.. but then again, if one is just starting and just want to start then i guess its okay to spend a bit on the VariND once get the hang of it ody then can start buying dedicated ones.. also, not much VariND available kan.. if Hoya got then.. why not? (Hoya VariND will surely costs a bomb!) |

QUOTE(avanpiper @ May 25 2012, 12:27 PM) Hi sifus, wanna ask how to improve pale pictures taken under fluorescent light? Direct flash always won't look natural , but Bounce flash or using any Flash diffuses will make ur picture most contrast and vibrant for example... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Any ways to enrich the colours, make it more vibrant? still a noob who recently got D3100. I didn't use flash coz it looks unnatural. I'm on aperture mode, not auto. |

Just get the most cheaper option to test out how u feel on dslr, dont listen to other get out of the best, the best is the great one, but doesnt mean u need and use it forever, just upgrading step by step
Those drive bmw also upgrading from proton>honda>bmw, it same apply to photography, when u are mature in this field, u will automatic looking the right thing, buying exp gear end up put it aside is a waste too |

QUOTE(razuryza @ May 30 2012, 01:38 PM) The one who can afford bmw wont go for proton, ppl will just say "why not save it up more to get the best?" yes u can save up til 6-7k for d700 (straight the best) but end up u got no money buy lens (same as no money for service) no point. And within the period u save save save ur money, other who buy d3100/5100 already can start their basic photography journey, i really dun understand why huma cant start with the basic and upgrade later? Pls tell me what do u lost if u learn and get from basic? Button not enough for entry level? Newbie doesnt need it. Dont tell me u will be pro within 1 month and think for upgrade? A body use for 1 year or more consider (untung balik). Technology is fast nowaday, Let say next year something come out with d7100 and beat d7000 , then u upgradin from d7k to d7100 mean u earn more than those d3100 upgrading ==> d7100? Just my 2cents, not always need to be the best, it depend ur need. |
