Did people go to take personal loan to pay all his credit card balance and focus only paybackthe personal loan?i think the interest rate is lower than credit card interest...

Why want to do that when you can get balance transfer at 0% for 6 months? Clearly those people don't know how to manage their cashtflow, or just not bothered.

My advice is never convert to personal loan.

My fren juz told me last week.

He owe cc 70k+ from 3 card

He tell me his citibank card owe 40k+

I ask him how he get such high limit he said at first only around 12k cl.

Citibank keep increase the cl when he do personal loan again n again.till now he owe this big sum, ask my opinion wan to work oversea.

Haha stupid people alot in this world. Like a fellow forumer said, he surely doesn't know how to manage his finances. Dude, Aeon offers 6 months 0%, Maybank offers 12 months 0%. Affinbank offers 0% for 6 months, BSN offers 0.3% for 12 months.

Saw the 4 banks above? Why borrow loan? Crazy.

Well, not many that can settle the debt within 6 or 12 months. I've seen people owing more than 30K to CC and their interest per month is about 500. They need a probably 3-5 years to pay it back thus personal loan. Anyway, they are stupid to begin with by raking up so much debt.

With creativity and some effort. It is very easy to break 30k down with 6 months BTs to payable chunks.

As I've said. Either they don't know how to manage cash flow or not bothered to fins out.

Its their money and debt. Nobody will help them if they don't want to help themselves.

Not sure about Affin but Maybank has. 12 months 3% upfront. I BT my balcne to my mother's credit card last 2 weeks from UOB. Haha

Anyway, lets say 30k from CIMB, and we have BSN, Aeon and Maybank to BT.

We first split 20k to Maybank for a 12 months instalment, 6k to Aeon and 4k to BSN.

This way, we save on the 30k interest of 500, am I right?

would i be charged interest or not?
Should i bank in back the equivalent "overused" amount RM4k?

now my total oustanding is RM4k above my CL.
Credit Limit available =N
Current O/S amount = N+ RM4000
Min payment =MYR 0
Last month statement amount = MYR 0
Total usage available = MYR 0

must be due to latest BT approval n the late refund approval on same day Applied latest BT as i thought they had ignored my refund.

Time to request for higher CL for more BT's... drool.gif
Asked PB to increase CL for my PBMG.... was asked to upgrade to PBVS instead.
Got my PBVS last week, and requested to move all my BT's from PBMG to PBVS.
With that I skip one statement cycle and delay past BT installments for another month later.
