QUOTE(nilambanting @ Mar 3 2014, 02:27 PM) Hi, if let say i got done a big purchase like rm10,000 with ocbc, can i apply Aeon and RHB for 2 separate BT to OCBC? It is like i took advance of rm10,000 from RHB to use and Aeon Rm10,000 BT help me to settle OCBC o/s. Hence, can use the ocbc statement (RM10,000) and apply 2 BT from 2 banks? yes, you may try it that way. |

QUOTE(hanaby @ May 26 2014, 08:29 PM) Hey guys, I am quite new to this. are you trolling? My current outstanding PB 4.9k/5k HL 4.9k/5k CIMB 9.8k/10k HSBC 20k/21k What is the best balance transfer that I can do and what happens to the credit limit after I do a balance transfer? I hope to hear from you all. Thanks. how are you going to do balance transfer when all of your cards already so close to max? and with these outstanding, do you think you still can apply for another cc in order to do bt? and if you really still can, can you get a credit limit of 50k in order for you to do bt for these outstanding (bcs bt can only use 80% of a cc)? |

QUOTE(hanaby @ May 26 2014, 08:54 PM) So it is not possible to do a balance transfer basing on these figures? it's possible to do balance transfer on these figures... but provided you have another cc with a credit limit of rm50k.I actually don't really get this balance transfer thing. It's not merely transferring the outstanding amount of your current credit cards to a instalment plan? balance transfer means transferring your current outstanding from one cc (bank A) to another cc (bank B). so bank B will pay to bank A the outstanding amount (and spread the amount into 6 or 12 months installments) so that you are now owing bank B instead of bank A. otherwise, you can go for converting your current outstanding with your current bank (upfront flat rate applicable). |

QUOTE(vincentwmh @ May 27 2014, 04:24 PM) agree, since i so free, just pull my mouse here:- nicely calculated. 1) rm40K collectively, if TS can pay FIXED 2K/mth, its gonna take TS, 24mths with rm7913 (18%/pa) interest incurred. 2) if only manage at REDUCING min 5%/mth & fix 500/mth(40th mth onwards), its gonna take TS 62mths with rm14,562 (18%pa) interest incurred. i think EPP with four banks can't do. i suggest if CCRISS still good, just apply PL bahh but by the way, this is not an issue with the ts (thread starter)... this was from qs (question starter). kesian our dear brotan you know? |

QUOTE(tbheng @ May 28 2014, 10:16 PM) Something to share on BT to PB. my watami bt to uob also uob paid with cheque.I submitted last Saturday via email, until today no call...due date next Monday. I called and CS told already approved and installment posted yesterday. I asked why no call to verify one? CS said they will call only when there is a need. Asked will PB pay my AEON Watami by cheque or IBG? CS said will pay AEON by IBG except 2 series of cc number : 5470-71xx-xxxx-xxxx or 4726-98xx-xxxx-xxxx. My Watami strike lottery, they sent out cheque today, should still meet my due date on next Monday, hopefully. |

QUOTE(bearbear @ Jun 19 2014, 10:58 AM) Guys for RHB I want to fully utilize it before 30th, so the limit depend on what do you mean available credit more than available credit? (a) Available Limit MYR OR (b) Available Credit MYR My available credit is more than available credit. the 80% bt full capacity depends on available limit, but the balance availability depends on available credit. |

QUOTE(bearbear @ Jun 19 2014, 11:41 AM) which means...if your credit limit = rm100k your bt capacity = rm80k 1) if you already used rm30k in your purchase, you only left rm70k balance for bt 2) if you have overpaid rm1k (means cl = rm101k), you still only have rm80k for bt |

QUOTE(bearbear @ Jun 19 2014, 02:01 PM) nothing to do with BT, i know it is 80% of available CL. yes, 80% based on available limit. What is the difference between available limit and available credit? Available Limit MYR 4,000 Available Credit MYR 4,500 my 80% based on which? Does this mean i have unbilled transactions MYR 500 and 80% based on available limit? the 20% covers your unbilled transactions and future transaction. QUOTE(lucas114 @ Jul 4 2014, 10:01 PM) New to BT. after you bt to aeon watami, not only mbb will not reverse the rm50 + 5k tp, but you further earn yourself 1k aeon points. Lets say swiped RM1k with MBB Amex during weekend (Got RM50 cash rebate + 5k treatspoints). After the statement date, BT the RM1k from MBB to Aeon Watami. Will MBB reverse the RM50 cash rebate + 5k treatspoints? |

QUOTE(Jason @ Jul 5 2014, 11:44 PM) Yup. 0 transactions on AEON so far... even if without any cashback or points to pump petrol using your cc, it is still better than having to pay for annual fee. so, the easiest and non-paiseh way is to pump rm1 petrol 12 times (pay at the pump).Come to think of it.. need 12 transactions to waive annual fee.. hmm. better go buy small small items 12 times. tips: if you want, you can even go for 10sen x 12 = rm1.20 only for pumping petrol at the pump. |
