Guys just wanna ask if i put money in asb in june 2013, would i get the pro-rated dividend for year 2013? I was told by a few people that pnb only considered the lowest amount before financial year. Please help to clarify.

Dividend is based on monthly rest thus calculate based on the lowest balance of each month.

Thanks.

I don't mean if the yearly dividend is guaranteed or not.

What I want to know is, if my amount in ASM is RM10,000 now (principal plus past year dividends) and KLCI dropped by 50%, can I still withdraw the RM10,000?

Cheerio.

ASM is a fixed price price fund of RM1 per unit, how can it dropped below the par value?
Your RM10k will still be there. Equity performance will affect the dividend payout but not your principal

I think he is worried about no money to withdraw.

You are welcome.
Be it As1m or ASB, all fixed price calculation is the same.

Hi, this may be a noob question since i'm very new to all this but does the quota apply to the bank branch only or all branches? Do all banks sell this?

I went to Maybank a month back to enquire about ASN, AS1M & AS 20-20 but all are full. sad.gif

Racial Quota applies nationwide.... not bank/branch quota. It's a central system via PNB

You have to have an account so that you can 'try bank-in' at the ASNB agents counter..

Without the account, you dont even stand a chance to try to bank in.. Sometimes I try over the counter, that the answer will be either non-bumi quota full, or successful transaction..

If you go open account, they will definitely straight away say all units sold out.

So does it mean the account has to be opened way earlier and kept until the quota is available?

Once you have the account which should be opened earlier, you can try over the counter any time you want..
