May I know if Maybankard 2 ( AMEX and VISA) : if I only keep these 2 cards, are they well recognised all over the world or is it better to have cards from a reputable foreign bank like HSBC or Citibank?

last saturday i went to maybank klcc to apply through the 60 minutes approval.. saw a booth inside the maybank with the maybankard2 banner & form.. few boards in the maybank still show the 60 minutes approval.. but when i ask about it, the guy in charge said it is ended already..

what is the fastest method to apply for this card? i already have other maybank cc so i think i can get fast approval.. btw, bank no longer can use our current cc to approve new cc application??

Do you get SMS alert when you perform any transaction via your credit card? If yes, do I need to manual activate it?

AFAIK, the default threshold is RM200.
Then I called them to decrease the alert threshold.

I is it need to wait a few days for the card to receive statement from PayPal? how come my vis card is ready for verification while my amex cannot and my amex is charged usd1 but no statement yet.

u need to wait like 3-7 days for the transaction to appear in the maybank system.

but i dont understand is why my AmEx card status at paypal is like still asking me to get a paypal code email then i press confirm it say wat not working or wat problem, and my visa is ready to ask me to key in paypal code from statement.. And sms i receive from maybank is it charged usd1 to my amex card >< cannot brain..

Is the paypal transaction already come out in your online account? If no, then not yet la.

Once your paypal transaction approve, there'll be a code in the transaction in your Maybank acc.

Key in the code into your paypal account, voila, your Amex will be link to Paypal

PS : Do take note it only Amex-Paypal only accept non RM transaction eg USD, Euro, Pound

Be patient la. The code will appear in your Maybank2U next to your transaction details.
Anyway, when I linked my AmEx card to PayPal, AmEx did call me to verify.
