Just got back from Maybank just now to check my CC. They checked and told me there's nothing wrong with my Amex. Then they said to check it through ATM. So, nothing wrong there as i can view my balance there. Later go to petrol station to fill fuel. Still cannot use my Amex. I used Visa instead. This is getting more frustrating

which petrol station?

I remember I read somewhere about some petrol station and places that did not accept AMEX.

I used it at Shell. Been using it at shell and nothing went wrong. Just now for the past few weeks. Cannot use my Amex CC. Yesterday tried using it at Giant also cannot.

Strange, looks like transaction is blocked but the card can still be read.

Can try Harvey Norman / SenQ, both accept Amex.

Call up Maybank card centre and ask,card centre is more realible than walk in branch.

Just apply the Maybankard 2 AMEX directly... no such thing as change...

Just got the card, it is a Visa >< and i ask can i change to mastercard, the ppl say why want to change, same only. I say i heard that mastercard promotion is better, he say no la, same only because same bank normally promotion same.. he say AmEx gives better promotions lol.. I wanna ask, if i purchase US digital online game, to be precise Guild Wars 2, thru linking the card to my paypal, if i do the transaction on saturday, i will be entitiled to 5% rebate? 5x treatpoints is everyday right?

How to see the CL limit? The terms mention that both card shared same CL.

Let's say in M2U I see VISA limit is RM4k and AMEX limit is RM4k. So total I can use for both card is RM8k or RM4k?

combined 4k i think, u can see it at the letter that is stick with the card when u 1st open

Yes u are entitle for 5% cashback and 5x points.. its the same as going oversea to perform your transaction.
However bare in mind that the Amex admin charges are higher then visa/master.
Thus, transaction perform oversea/online during the weekend doesn't give u as much discount as u expected BUT u get points !

Then if I swipe the VISA for EPP at RM4k, I can't use AMEX to pump petrol and other transaction anymore?
