Anyone can confirm? 0% easy payment doesn't comes with 5% rebate nor 5XTP?

AMEX does not have installment plan except for very few selected shops only. Even they do offer installment for AMEX, u cant guarantee they will processed the payment on weekend. So the answer is no

But im not sure whether u can send/take from your Amex card, which i think probably cant.
Even though if can, but it will be sent in USD rate and the receiver must convert back to MYR if he/she wants to withdraw.
*
tried already. cant use paypal which linked to AMEX to send payment to other person.

Waste my time keep waiting, and sorry for those who queue behind me....

Everytime if I plan to use Amex for huge amount on weekend my heartbeat sure increase  sweat.gif .

ESSO must be aware that the merchant charges for AMEX is too expensive already. If that is the case better use shell since you can use bonuslink to get some points while carltex does not accept any loyalty card

highly doubt such points speed gaining can be always evergreen.

just used another 20k points for GST offset for both primary and suplementary member... Point hitting up half mil soon... putting the blames on too much points...

Do advice what type's of stuffs can be done on the TP fair... didn't manage to go last year due to some wedding's related matters..

as i am also worried on the *Inflation* of TP's..

metrojaya is a must (9000TP only) and any giant, tesco, jusco, carrefour, parkson vouchers

paying in full n on time is not a "Good" customer for bank....
tats y i only allow to have balance remain for maybank...
my HSBC after keep some (minimal as i was to find out how much my rate n will it go low)
so my rate went from 17.5% to 13.5% after i remain like some 100-200 for 1-2months...

lol, you rather to pay interest to bank instead of saving it for other purpose ? u must be a loyal and good servant to bank. Bank loves you rclxms.gif doh.gif

laugh.gif I can't keep my laughter here. laugh.gif

With that kind of payment style, it will affect your CCRIS report and this will affect your loan application next time.

I rather use the money to keep or buy other things than paying bank for interest. doh.gif

For us here, use CC for convenience purpose and pay your CC on time and in full payment. I guess we are (or I am) too cheapskate as we are (I'm) looking for cash rebate every month instead of giving extra to the bank... sad.gif
*
No, it wont affect CCRIS if he or she did pay the minimum amount. But they still know outstanding amount that person owe to bank

Why not you try to request for CL increase ? nowadays some bank cannot simply increase your credit limit without any request from customer

Hey guys, duno why my application got rejected, my annual salary fulfilled the requirement. But my salary doc was printed too small...maybe they couldnt read it or my cimb bank statement has only 60 days so they disapproved.

Do i really have to wait another 6 mths before i could reapply? Tq

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jun 28 2012, 04:18 PM)
I went to SenQ this morning and I was going to buy the new 32GB iPad WiFi only model. I enquired about this Maybank 0% EzyPay Instalment but guess what, i was told that i have to pay RM20 (Apple license fee) + RM25 (one time processing fee for paying by instalment) for 12-month 0% instalment. For 24-month 0% instalment, i have to pay RM20 (Apple license fee) + RM65 (one time processing fee for paying by instalment)    doh.gif

Of course i wasn't willing to pay for the absurd fees. So i asked the staff if they accept AMEX and told him that i wanted to pay at one-go with my AMEX. But guess what, i was told that i have to buy at least two iPad accessories or they are not selling me the iPad    vmad.gif    The only Apple Premium Reseller Store in KK is Technocrats and they are using the same business tactic too. The only difference is that instead of forcing their potential customer to buy two iPad accessories like SenQ, one can choose to buy only one.

So, if we still have to pay this stupid processing fee for credit card instalment, it is not really a 0% instalment anymore. Anyway, i walked away at the end. So there goes my plan to buy an iPad    sad.gif
*
u can complain this to senQ management by sending email to them. They dont allow this kind of tactic which is purchase with purchase, those greedy branch manager just want to get sales target or clear stock You can straight away purchase the ipad, no need to purchase other accessories

Posting date/time is later than transaction date by the merchant.
i.e. Posting a transaction mean the merchant collect $$$ from the bank.

To win, swipe at 12:00AM on the Monday will give you a strong chance to get the 20%
Best place to achieve this : Hypermarket/Supermarket vouchers on 12:00AM
*
not much shop open during that time

Actually wrong....

It should be 500 + (RM40 x 2).... The tax shown are per day..

And i believe the 6% rebate are manually refund, not auto.

is it worth to use amex during weekend purchase for hotel booking at agoda compare to using visa/master with 6% discount ?

depends on how u think i guess..

visa/master 6% is discount before tax and so forth if i'm not mistaken...

while amex is on full amount, but u just get 5% CASH rebate, while 2.5% comes in the form of TP...

Added on July 4, 2012, 2:21 pm
yes correct.

and u need to use the agoda maybank portal, pay using ur visa or mastercard..

when u proceed to pay, it will show u the discount directly...

DON'T PROCEED, IF U DUN SEE THE DISCOUNT AFTER U KEY IN UR CC DETAILS.
*
with visa/master, u get 6% + 0.5% (1xTP) = 6.5%
with AMEX on weekend, u get 5% +2.5%(5xTP) = 7.5%

But AMEX admin fee for foreign transaction is higher compare to visa/master, usually around 2%. Correct me if i am wrong
