Good repayment record in ccris is not the only criteria for granting of credit.

In my opinion, if you have maxed out all your available credits, that may affect your ability to get approval.

Another possible reason is that you may have applied for new credit, too many times, recently.
*
For how long will it be in CCRIS system that you applied for new credit? Does it tell what credit being applied for in CCRIS?

Just like the repayment records, CCRIS would show all the applications for credit for the past 12 months.

The type of information provided in the credit application records are the amount applied, own application or joint, application status (pending, approved, etc.) and the type of lender (whether it is the same bank that asked for the ccris report, related bank, commercial bank, merchant bank, finance company etc.). I think it doesn't tell whether the applications are for credit cards, hire purchase or housing loan etc., even though it has a column for it.

As far as I know, rejected or deleted applications are not listed, which is surprising, because I think they should include that.

Are you absolutely sure beyond doubt with your statement/posting here ?

I know what I'm saying...
I'm saying that because Mostly Overseas's Spend get more reward point than Local's Use..
I also knew that both local and Overseas spends can get same amount of 5x reward points

I'd appreciate if you were to focus on clarity and accuracy of your posting.
Usage of "Mostly" would not be enough as there are many products out there offering 5x and the next question to be asked to you is which one ?

I appreciate your contribution but a misleading/incorrect contribution is of no use as well and it'll create trouble later from demanding readers of this forum. If you can't provide the clarity and accuracy of your posting then I'd appreciate if you were to avoid from answering at all and to allow others in this section to answer that question.

On another note, I'd like to mention that vulgarities are not welcomed here. The recent post have seen some hot blooded members posting using inappropriate language. If you or anyone can't post properly then please take time to cool off before coming here or we'll make sure you'll be cooled off before being allowed to come back.

Hi Sifus, CIMB issued the Petronas loyalty credit card (GREEN coloured card not GOLD card). Used it to pump petrol at Petronas, rebate given but any purchases at other retail outlets (other than petrol), credit points not given. Is this the terms of the card usage? No points cannot use to offset the GST, seem useless. rclxub.gif

Q: i use my credit card pay, how will it charge?
A: IMO the rate are lower than you physically exchange notes, coz if u cant finish the notes u have to exchange it back to RM

Q: singapore got maybank rite? and if i withdraw using my atm card can o not
A: It will be counted as Cash Advance (after calculated exchange rate). Never do that!

Read This Thread and there is a link to Visa International Exchange Rate Estimator

Just use your Petronas Card as you would in Malaysia and don't worry about the exchange charges.

If you need cash while in Singapore, use your Maybank ATM Debit Card (if you have one) BUT never use credit card for cash withdrawal as you will be imposed a fee upfront and subsequently daily interest shall be imposed. Furthermore, will it be convenient for you to access a MBB ATM?
