QUOTE(xphossis @ Jul 20 2012, 11:07 PM) Guys is it true that cc interest rate is negotiable? Hahaha .... NO. No chance you can negotiate with the bank even though your monthly cc usage is more than >RM100k, let alone some small puny customer who claims RM1K (per month) spending is a lot. And you heard it from here ? No one from this section would dare to claim such.I heard ppl here saying that they can nego the cc rate to 4-6% pa? You got to share who told you this magnificent myth! I checked with Citibank, Gold Card can reach 100k
I've my question here: 1) I will be relocating to middle east which allowed me to apply for platinum card. but my current salary only allowed for gold card. So, can I apply for platinum card now? 2) Which one is better, applying CC in Malaysia (where my salary will be deposit) or to relocated country (where I will mostly use the card)? |

At least 3 months is the safest in order for them to evaluate and approve your card effectively. Hi, I have a few question regarding credit card. Currently I have 2 CC, Maybank Petronas and Aeon Classic.
1) I'm curious about the interest fees. How to calculate the 17.5% p.a. interest? Example if I have a overdue of RM1000, for that month how much interest I have to pay? RM175 or Rm175 divide by 12? 2) For both CC I have, the 0% easy payment plan is really a 0% interest or there are some hidden fees like processing fee? Example, if I bought an item with RM2400 price tag, from my understanding, after RM200 monthly, at the end of the year the total cost still RM2400 right? Thank you. |

But some merchant will advertise 0% interest free but they may charge you processing or admin fee. This post has been edited by Gen-X: Jul 24 2012, 05:33 PM |

Anyone manage to pay for TNB via internet banking or auto debit for Allianz or Hong Leong CC?
I have checked TNB website, this 2 bank is not in their list. I want to utilise the cash back rebate for these cards. |
