Hi, I was wondering if anyone new why the annual fee for the "Citibank AirAsia Platinum Visa Credit Card" is so high. For gold its RM180, and for platinum its RM380.

I feel the card does not have many benefits, but its appealing because of all the other credit cards, AirAsia benefits is something I would like to get compared to cashback, umbrellas, etc.

Also, if anyone have opinion about the "Citibank AirAsia Platinum Visa Credit Card", please share here.

citibank officer said spend 30k and u get it waived.

Spent RM70k and received the 180k (max points) or RM1050 AA vouchers and have stopped using the card coz no more perks!

But, U need to pay $100 Subscription Fee Annually on Citi Rewards Platinum to Enjoy the 5x Reward Points Benefit on Petrol or Others Reward Categories ($100 per Category)
FAQ on Rewards Platinum: http://www.citibank.com.my/english/credit-...rdsplat/faq.htm

Benefits on Citibank Platinum Card: http://www.citibank.com.my/english/credit-...Code=MYCCWAB3LM

FYI, Most of the Credit Card X Earn Points on Petrol Purchase.... nod.gif
& also Some of the CC like HLB Wise Card, will Need some Subscription Fee... to Get more Benefit e.g Cash Back from the Card

I had calculate and able to waive off the subscription fee for all categories. Just thinking the benefit isit better then citibank platinum card?

Actually it depends on the income eligibility.

For cardholders earning RM36,000 per annum and less, cardholders can only hold credit cards from a maximum of two issuers.

Note that it is two issuers, not two cards.

hi, might be a noob question , but does anybody know how the minimum income requirement works? say visa signature generally needs RM100k per annum. If my base salary is RM50k but my bonus is 1 year , hence also Rm50k, with a combined total of RM100k p.a, am i entitled to visa signature, or will they only look at ur base salary. thnx in advance smile.gif

Yeah, but annual fee for this airasia citibank card is slightly higher than normal. i.e. gold is rm180/platinum is RM380!!! How can you get it waived besides spending RM30K a year! I don't think I will spend that much. Maybe at most also is RM12k a year. Can i still get it waived?

if yes, which is the best bank...CC...

Cannot lah. Only can use cash obtained from ATM or over the counter via cash advance to pay for your car and house installment.

But the cash advance fee would be very high.

Depends on the merchant lah. I don't think they would allow it without imposing a surcharge.

hi there.

Im using a maybank visa credit card.

When I open my online statement, it always says,

Statement balance RMXXX
Outstanding balance RMXXX

i always pay the 'outstanding' balance because that is the only figure that keeps changing every time i make a payment using the credit card.

but the statement balance, there has been an amount of RM200 plus, which i dont know what is it about.

If its a balance that i need to pay, then why dont just put it under the same group? like just put it as outstanding balance.

I want to ask what is that statement balance about, and do i need to pay it?

You should ALWAYS PAY Statement Balance BEFORE the Due Date ...
The Outstanding Balance is Statement Balance (Billed Transactions) + Unbilled Transactions (current swipes)
