Would like to ask. If my pay is rm1950. Can i still apply for credit card if no OT/fix income.

at RM2,000.00 per month, i would not recommend you to own a credit card. do read up on maybank's debit card which offers 0.5% cash back rebate...

they are visa debit cards which are accepted worldwide.

at RM2,000.00 a month, it will be tempting and very likely that you would start to a life of cc debt.

Hi there, it is the first time i post something here, please be kind. I just want to know if it is wise to apply credit card for cash advancement? The reason is, i don't want to take any personal loan and just need a few thousands for my upcoming project. And my goal is to settle the amount of what i use within a year. I just need a quick cash because it is an emergency. Need advice. Thanks in advance.

get investors...share your story...if no family and friends, ask Lowyat members if we keen...

credit card application to approval = 3 weeks at least before you get your card....

if you get funding from Lowyat, tomorrow you may have gotten 5k

if you want 5k to start flipping iphone 5s, then good luck...

if you need 5k for parents medical etc. i suppose, CC is best...

if you need 5k for a lok-lok car...hard work do pay off.

people borrow for many reasons...know how to repay and you sleep better

Please remove SCB cards from all the categories. SCB cards are useless until further adjustment from SCB.

LOL...SCB visa is now off my wallet...replaced with the humble AirAsia Citibank

Hi,

For the Maybank WMC, I do know that it comes with the Hilton Premium Club Privileges Card. But the question is that the card comes with the privileged card only or the card with the membership vouchers as advertised in the link below. Thank you.

Hilton Membership

No sir. It only comes with the membership card and now the priority pass card wub.gif

hi don't know it this is the right place if it is sorry.

How does the 12 month 0% interest repayment work if I want to buy a new phone.

Assuming phone cost 2.4k. so every month they will deduct 200 automatically from card for 12 months with no interest on the 2.4k?

So do I need to swipe 1st time 200 then I get the phone or do I have to fill up some form?
Is this how it works or will the be hidden charges somewhere?Couldn't find much info in the search option.

the vendor will key into their credit card machine that you opted for the 12/24 month 0% interest payment. the full amount of say RM2,400 will be deducted monthly at RM200.00 permonth.

simple...

sign up to a new credit card that offers interest free balance transfer say for 12 months. from then on, put both cards in the freezer. make regular repayments. thaw your cards after you have repaid the outstanding balance!

i don't mean to be rude but if you are to get out of debt i think the very least you have to start to learn to help yourself. do some research and stop waiting to be spoon fed!
