If I am in a spot where i cant use my 5% Titanium rebate and Amex rebate.. I have to choose between OCBC 1% or Maybank2card Visa (I think its 2xTP)... which will you go for ?..

Fruitie is right, MBB 2 Visa gives 1x TP which is ~0.5% so OCBC ti is a clear choice here.

Received SMSes today from RHB stating that 2 CC have been approved - RHB Tesco and RHB Platinum-i

I was shocked as I didn't see it coming since no calls from RHB.

I have to call the CS to cancel both of them.

RHB Tesco: Cancellation reason is RHB agent deceived me with outdated campaign

RHB Platinum-i: Cancellation reason is didn't apply this card at all!

Usually they'll send out SMS to notify that your card is approved. laugh.gif

Better call UOB CS ASAP. It could be somebody mistyped the handphone number.

Effective May 2, 2013. IBG transactions done via electronics means / e-Banking will only be charged 10 cents. No more reasons for anyone to give the excuse of not wanting to use IBG to pay their credit cards electronically. Cost of using cheque will go up next year starting April 1, 2014 - each cheque will now be charged RM0.50

I would like to ask what's wrong with my situation that i can't even get a gold credit card. I have a company turnover of more then 2 millions per annum not including my tenancy agreement. the only loan i have is asb loan dated back from 2007 and i have no problem paying it because i used auto debit for the loan.

the only thing that i can think of is i don't have a borang b and my directorship is less then 2 years. the company is transfer from my mother name. i already tried a few like hsbc, cimb, uob and even maybank itself where i corporate current account is there also i cant get. I wanted to used it for travel and business cause i dont want to carry a large sum of cash everytime.

the only solution that I can think of right now is pledging my money to hsbc or ambank. but if there's any other options or people know a few banks or institutional that is quite lenient please let me know. thanks nod.gif
