Do we really need to warming up the car first b4 jalan?
Cause i just start engine, and then terus jalan..haha

I noticed, in viva, it got a blue indicator light for engine.. (i didn't read the viva manual book, so dunno what light is that)
but not in myvi..

You can drive your car, but take it slow for the first 5-10 minutes to let it warm up. Reasons given:

1) Your car warms up faster when you're loading the engine.
2) You don't waste fuel on idling. No distance done, no mileage gained.
3) Your catalytic converter warms up faster. CCs only start working once it's at a certain temperature, thus reducing emissions from your car.

I'm used to warming up my old car otherwise it will crank up during the whole journey. Now I just warm up a little because this MyVi takes 2-3 times longer to warmup before starting my journey.

Modern injection engine are not like those carbie engine of the yesteryear Bro... No need to warm-up 1st before jalan.. But better for the first 5-10 minuters of driving after left ur car stationary for a whole nite, dont straight away redlines ur engine.. Get the engine oil to lubricate ur engine at moderate engine speed 1st to ensure all inner parts get lube well 1st...

A question about the RayTech tintng free voucher given by Perodua, it says there 5 doors FOC (free of charge), how dark is the tint? Or is it standard?

I'm thinking of going this weekend to get it done, been two weeks since I got my car and every morning the sun was so bright till I have to peep through. Coz no sun visor yet.

need clarification. is it FREE or its a Voucher of RM200 etc? As far as I concern, the tinted they give is cheepo one, and will faded after a period of time. Nevertheless, its up to you to decide.

oh sorry, i mean the 8" tint in front xD

here's the voucher, I don't get the cash voucher thingy..and what's the difference between solar control and solar security. Solar security is so that the glass won't break into pieces right?

So let's say if I just want the solar control film, how much should I pay? 200 bucks?

GHOSTVIC, regarding your enquiry from the previous thread - there's only one place you can do the coating for RM500, and it's Sierra Glow in USJ1 as he only has one outlet.

WOHHH IRBEAN, you got nice FC there, 18.1km per liter ? damnn i wish i could have that,
mine worst just 11km/liter ... this is what all auto get ?

really made mistake of having this auto...
miss my manual wira...

if we calculate the FC for long run , AUTO fuel cost definitely will be higher double/triple compare the MANUAL..
now i feel the pain...

Added on February 24, 2012, 3:28 amHow many of you using MANUAL & AUTO here...
