Yup.. switching D to N frequently will shorten the lifespan of ur gearbox.
The most effective way to save fuel is still using a light foot. Step gradually on the pedal when u want to move instead of jamming on it.
50cent.

1 day old car. Need to visit the SC soon.
- Steering is not rolling back to position when taking small corners.
- Having brake problems which i think the pedal are too tight.
- When applying brakes in stationary position, seems like it is gradually losing power so i need to step a little bit harder.

Thank you guys. 7-8hours of surveying used car, not satisfied with any. Finally decided to go for new Myvi LB 1.3 SXi. Just booked it 2hours ago. ebony black vs pearl white vs ivory white??????
*
Pearl white is damn ugly. Ivory white needs extra care. Ebony black give maximum shine. Now choose.

*
Coz the pearl white is not white but its yellowish instead. For those that dun know, they might think ur car color has faded.

I think is because that the car is new and then there will be a lot of the metal dust inside the engine oil since its new with the pistons skimming the wall?
even though with the oil filter, i dont think it will filter 100% of all the metal dust or maybe the filter is already full for hardcore driver, therefore 1st 1k service will need to change the oil too to make sure the oil is clean if not it would damage our engine?
Same as for 5000km service?
just my 2cents..no offence =)

Added on March 3, 2012, 3:55 pm

Thats the engine oil that perodua will provide for our engine.
As the price may be vary between outside compared to service center.
But if u service at the outside workshop, u wont be able to get the service center chop on ur service book which already void the car warranty and nxt time wanna sell car, cant provide the service record n the used car dealer would have a chance try to press the price as low as possible since u cant provide ur service record?
just my 2cents..no offence =)
*
Is there any SC that will allow u to BYO oil?

it means after u get ur new ride, for the first 1000KM is not recommend to speed over 100km/h, because the engine still new, im not sure bout it but normally SA will tell u so
*
After car being produced it will go through a quality check to ensure everything work correctly. One of the process definitely will include speed test.
So i think the theory is irrelevant.
