GHOSTVIC, regarding your enquiry from the previous thread - there's only one place you can do the coating for RM500, and it's Sierra Glow in USJ1 as he only has one outlet.

WOHHH IRBEAN, you got nice FC there, 18.1km per liter ? damnn i wish i could have that,
mine worst just 11km/liter ... this is what all auto get ?

really made mistake of having this auto...
miss my manual wira...

if we calculate the FC for long run , AUTO fuel cost definitely will be higher double/triple compare the MANUAL..
now i feel the pain...

Added on February 24, 2012, 3:28 amHow many of you using MANUAL & AUTO here...

ok i collected my player from SC today... and running well the radio reception looks good as well... unfortunately have to wait 2 weeks to upgrade to GPS 5.5 at service centre...

they claim the new software still not fully finalize yet, i told them people can upgrade it by their self dowloading from website.. Tech asked me to giv a try.. damn..

then i noticed a guy walked in asking for GPS upgrade where he tried by own, does not work getting errors it seems...P2 SC replied asked to come after 2 week... im not sure...

colinwong / superdeemon
yes bro me kesian, never think wisely before choosing transmission... belum kena belum tahu in that condition im now...

feel like trade in my auto and take manual... is it make sense ?

maybe i lost extra 10k, but using auto for long run still im going to lose that 10k in FC, dont u guys think so ?

AVERAGE auto 11km/l --> 0.17sen/km manual 15km/l --> 0.12sen/km...

just 5 cents difference.. per 100km 5 ringgit difference

For 68 i drive 400 km
For 68 u drive 567 km

which extra 167km cost me around 9 ringgit...

100,000 km in 5 years , AT spend about RM17,000 MT 12,000... so 5000 extra i pay for my 5 years comfort driving
for that extra bucks im getting comfort driving, less tiring... hahahaha

glad to hear that u have receive ur HU. BTW regarding the Firmware update, as long as u follow the instruction given, u should be fine. There's no such error faced before, unless u didnt follow the exact steps mentioned. Make sure u have dload the latest version, u have internet connection with you, and ur multimedia HU.

Regarding the FC, it depends on your foot. For me, using auto still can save my FC. If u press hard, for sure ur FC will quite high regardless of using Auto or Manual. Just make sure ur gear at [N] during red trafic light or stuck in jammed road. [N] refers to free gear, and i believe if youre on manual trans, u will put at free gear whenever ur ride is not moving rite? same theory applied there.

Then when the trafic light turn green, if ur in manual trans, put in gear 1 and move on and increase the gear accordingly rite? same goes to auto, you shoulds starts with [3] then when ur ride catching some speed you can change to [D4]. Theoretically you are more or less the same as manual trans, therefore you can save up your FC.

*just my 50 sen thought.  laugh.gif

Should you shift an automatic transmission from 'D' to 'N' while waiting at traffic lights?

"Shifting it to N frequently increases wear and tear. Not much benefit in terms of saving on gas ", brake-pad is cheaper than transmission.." thts what most of them saying...

Wow it quite long i never post anything here, busy with work no time to look after forum...

how r u my dear friends.... so fast page 23 already..

It has been 1 month 2 weeks.. im driving 1.5 auto Extreme version..
Went thru few unfavorable things like all of u..

So far in this period of time i share again to all new owners here what i encountered and what action i took and what is the current status...

1- well 1st day i took my car i shouldn't went to acc shop to install buzzer and bypass wire to watch dvd while driving..
2- I did that my whole central locking jammed and DVD plays but movie not displaying. (with n without handbrake)
3- I believe my radio reception become weak with some noises even at open place maybe he touched some wires im not sure...
4- Then i started to hear irritating sound from front left door, when i press it stops then comes again..

I went to same acc shop, to get buzzer removed then central locking works fine..

When i brought my car to SC for 1k service and complained those matters.
They tested car without door frame, and found some locks not properly fixed and adjusted.. sound gone
Then i left my Multimedia panel with them to check with vendor, they requested me to collect after 2 weeks..
I fixed buzzer at SC for just 50, and so far no issues with central locking

Before i go collect my player, i revert back the wires to original condition at acc shop.
Players tested good by vendor, when fixed back movie plays with display and radio reception clear..
I believe it was because of my itchy hand brought to acc shop and did bypass..

Now after few weeks i noticed new noise coming from back left side..
"krik krik krik", its not from the door somewhere from chassis near to trunk..
My same front left door also produce noise on n off, but different type..

So far thts all about..

How r u guys...

First long journey after bought car KL-IPOH-KL.
Really can get good FC consumption..
i pumped as usual RM65 where i drive at city only can get between 364-390km...
when i do long highway drive.. i managed to get 479km.

unfortunate part was my tyre front left punctured just after reached IPOH.
Around 730pm i only could find a tyre shop opened, they checked and found a piece of glass tear of top left.. Since the hole is quite deep and wide he said not able to close it from top, like usual process where they stuff in a rubber tube and close the hole...
He recommended either paste a rubber from inside, like what they do for lorry tires.....but his shop never does that so only solution he gave to change tires.... damn im not sure he was lying or what..

Damn, i dont want let go my new tires..so i waited for next day to check out different shop

so for the whole day i used my Myvi's fcking small temporay tyre.. i dont really know why they must come out with this small temporary tyre.. definitely i cant drive back with this temporary tyre.. sure it get burst i guess... terrible no confident at all.. and also i cant store my damaged tyre at trunk since limited place... i had to keep it at passenger compound

So i waited for next day where the shops that really does that open, luckily sunday there was a shop opened and since they doing jobs for lorry tires they have this method of sealing from inside...this guy told me it can last longer... he skimmed my tires inside part where damaged by glass and paste some glu over it and lastly sticked that rubber piece on it... thats it... i drove back to KL..

When i drove to IPOH i found everything stable, but coming back time i found when i drove above 120km my car is not stable... im not sure is it because my balancing and alignment ran out because of changing tires from temporary back to original.. or is it because i drove with uneven alignment with temporary tyre... aisshhhhhhh trouble trouble...

i already book appointment with SC tomorrow morning to check all this...

GUYS anyone here having issues when upgrade to lokatoo GPS 5.5.4 version for myvi double din ?

i follow instruction as stated..
downloaded software in to pc, then select drive of MMCard..
then install in to it, when its backing up files.. thats where it always fail saying "disk C no enough space"...
then i have to roll back...

i dont understand why disk C no enough space, where my hardisk free space more than 100gb..
i checked MMCard size just 4gb, and already contain earlier version of GPS...
im afraid to format that MMCard and try reinstall new software, incase doesnt work aheache...

im not sure for 5.5.4, the card size must be higher 8gb/16gb ?

so i called SC and asked they said, already can upgrade to new version 5.5.4.. and i booked appointment tomorrow morning...

Lets see they can work it out or not

How about you guys ? the latest myvi is it coming with latest version of GPS ? what would be the card size ?

At last my GPS version successfully upgraded to software version 5.5.4.
i did at SC, they took just below 20 mins to settle it. I tried myself failed...

Another thing i feel like complaining about the SC and their workmanship..
already went there few times after my 1st service, still they not able to fix my door noise.. said need to change parts, done it still same..

Then i did balancing+alignment for RM55, already expensive but not perfect at all.. the staring not straight slightly to the right.. when i drive in straight road making the staring straight it goes right.... what kind of workmanship is this.. bugger said everything is ok...

damn it... at some point of time already feel fed up bringing there..

GUYS good news,

yesterday i have submitted my complain via P2 official website about P2 SC i often visit, mentioning their workman ship was not so promising, problems still persist even after few times of visit and extra.

Guess what today afternoon i received call from P2 HQ, regarding my online complain. Then i have explained my frustration and she promised to look after my issue and request to bring car to HQ for inspection. I guess she could have forwarded my complain to SC.. looks like they trying to reach me today several times.. looks like they started to do courtesy calls..

guys any issues u facing like your SC claims unable to fix, or even problem there after fixed.. and so on just launch complain via online... I did and it works....

Anyone faced issue with the radio reception quality? I got my 1.5SE last week and found that the radio channels (e,g, 92.9 in KL area) often have some level of faint static noise. Could it be antenna issue? The GPS reception seems to be very good though.

Another issue I noticed for the multimedia HUD is that when a DVD movie is played, the picture is always stretch sideway, with black bars on top and bottom, as if I were playing 4:3 video picture on 16:9 display. I have doubled check on my home TV that the movie is in fact in widescreen (16:9) format. Is there a setup required for this?

TQ.

Yes bro, mine also the radio frequencies not 100% clear... sure got some noises depends on the location it seems, but isnt that should not work that way... i check other cars vios/honda radio reception good... even my friend;s myvi SE 2007 good...

your DVD playing im not sure, need to check mine.. as i know my player displayed whole screen..
