Hi guys im a new user of MYVI so need some advises and experiences from the experts over this forum..

Mine is Myvi 1.5 Extreme (1 week old)...

First day itself i fixed alarm sensor, since by default no beeping sound when press the alarm. Accessories shop guy installed additional item where he claimed does not need to cut wyres, just add socket so can slot in...

Then he suggested to switch the cable of DVD, where i can watch DVD while driving. By default must pull handbrake to watch.. So i agreed.

Seems all ok, then i noticed my radio reception was not so good for certain channels. i went back to that shop in worries maybe what he did could brought that problem.. So he replied alarm and radio got nothing to do and my issue could be because radio signals weak, depends on the areas..
The problem is I never figure out how was the radio reception before the touch up...So im clueless whether by default already have signal weak or after the touchup.. now and need to check with service centre..
How about you guys MYVI 1.5, by default the radio signals is it ok ?

Lets come to alarm part, today is 5th day of having my car.
My central locking not working now. I press the alarm just beeps and lights flashing but car not unlocking or locking. I have to use key manually unlock and lock. When i press brake just sounds coming out like central locking but its not locking at all..
So i suspect the additional sensor that guy installed could causing the problem now.
Really frustrated, does not know wiring issue or what the f*** is that..
Now need to bring to him again, and screw him to take it out from my car...

Oh so SC can install that beeping sound is it... so now my car not locking or unlocking by pressing alarms, is it because wiring issue ? can i bring to SC to check on that.. Do they entertain me even after i installed the buzzer by my own. I just worry SC may refuse to check on this, or give excuses of warranty gone...
I did called and ask that shopguy whether its really plug n slot, or he did some wyre cutting, but he said he never cut any wyres..


How about my radio signal, weak receptions.

Yes bro, i just checked my MYVI 1.5 AUTO, the fog light is working, but i dont see any indicator in meter box, like what we getting when switch on headlight/engine/signals and so on.

Guys im bit confused with this Myvi FC calculation, mine 1.5 Auto Extreme...
I took my car on 19/01/2012, registered and manufactured 2012.

On 19/01 when i first took my car frm showroom i never bother how that fuel indicator at instrument panel works and just nice i reached home my car died went out of petrol, total empty...
So i bought petrol for 10 ringgit and poured in, drove to petrol station and pumped in for another 60 ringgit

So total petrol RON 95 i filled in was for 70 ringgit, where the fuel indicator back to full and the range showed 340km++
When i first pumped in i have reset the travel A and B indicators to zero..
Today the fuel bar left 1 and its started to blink, the range left just 30km now.
Now A/B shows around 315km ++
My odometer shows total mileage i have reached now around 350km ++

so i will pump full tank again later, and repeat the same process to read the mileage again accurately..


Anyone here owner of 1.5 extreme auto, can share with me your FC and what is full tank rate, what would be the mileage u getting for the full tank ?

My 1st fuel was pumped 1 week ago, full tank nearly RM70++, where range left 0km i believe, since car died due to tank total empty..So later noticed range showed about 350km

Today morning was my 2nd time of filling in petrol..
where range left 28km already blinked, odometer showed 353km..
i pumped in RON95 full tank RM65 / 34.220 liter, RM1.90/liter...
Range backed to 357km and AVG showed 9.0km/liter..
I reset my Trip A/B reading back to 0...
I noted down the reading...

Just now i noticed Range changed to 359km and Avg showed 9.4km/liter...
Surprisingly the fuel bar still full and never go down at all even after Trip showing 63km...

Im confused and also worrying, is it something wrong with my Fuel system indication / instrumental panel ?
i have attached pics for you guys..

Ok bro i'll do that thanks for the advise, unfortunately the shop closed today due to CNY, damn...
i really cant wait to get my alarm and central locking fixed...
Another thing, when i use key to lock or unlock only the driver seat door working...
other doors not locking/unlocking together, have to lock/unlock individually..
especially front left door if u press lock button and close the door its not locking at all, must lock it from inside...
back doors can press lock button and close the door, its locking
trunk at the back dont know how to open it, any manual trunk opener button ?

My office just located at the back, since the SC is near its easy for me to send when reach 1000km...
Some more i need to check my central locking and also some cengkerik noise coming from front left door, really irritating..
Im trying to figure out any defects or fault as much as possible, so i can complain at SC ask them look in to it...
In fact Near to my home do have SC but i dont know which service centre would be the best option..

Guys, i have few more questions here...

Do you guys feel like driving slow even the speed already reach 80-90km ?
i feel such thing, the meter shows 80km but i have feeling like driving in 50 or 60...

Another thing, 1 week ago i felt like the instrument panel lights (all 3meters) quickly flash out once i on the engine...
But now seems like only lighting up after few seconds, the middle speedometer light come out first then followed by RPM meter and most right one...
Are guys seeing same thing as mine ?

the fella installed claims never cut any wyres, first the buzzer never work then he fixed it changing the socket..
then after 1 week now total central locking not working, manually locking and unlocking by using key...
only buzzer sound coming out but car not locking or unlocking... damn

now i need to go there again ask him remove, revert to original setting and bring to SC to check the system..headache
atleast fix at SC they know wht they doing and can refer to them back if any issues...have warranty..

im made a mistake never go thru this forum earlier...

Bro mine is Auto 1.5 Extreme

MYVI tank is 40 liter, so if RON 95, 1.90/l = full tank RM76

1st refuel - RM70++ full tank (where the tank total empty car died condition)
2nd refuel- RM65++ full tank (pumped to the max till the petrol knob keep ejecting) RON 95, 34.222 liter

so balance fuel still inside around 5.78liter x 1.90 = Rm 10.982 + RM65 = RM75.982 (can reach 40liter price RM76)

why not you do your calculation and post here and check similar to mine or not......

so i feel what u r saying is logic and true...

another thing how about ur intrument panel lights, is it slowly glow and become bright or just on the engine can see bright lights on the spot...
i went to showroom to check about that actually but damn no cars to test...
the person incharge told me thats the style of the panel slowly goes bright, i feel wierd...

Have u checked how your RANGE is working ? i still have doubts on the RANGE calculation...
initially i thought RANGE + Trip A/B = total mileage...
if RANGE less 1km, TRIP get added 1km
but looks like the RANGE reading decreasing drastically, Trip not even reach 1km but RANGE already less 2km...

for example, just now when i drive out and drive in reading was
RANGE 193km TRIP 141.9km
RANGE 187km TRIP 144.9km

just drove 3km mileage but RANGE already less 6km.....
i noticed even the car never move, engine is on after sometime the RANGE figures dropping..
how the RANGE works actually, then definitely we cant budget mileage based on RANGE and its freaking out...

Guys so what bars is already good enough to be installed for our MYVI... ?
i see got many type of bars for rear and front...
Front Strut bar/tower bar & Rear Anti Roll bar is all we need ?
Any cost of total body damage if accidents happen ?

Ultra racing website says, installing those bars provide more rigidity plus minimize the impact of chassis, more stability when cornering...

GUYS,

My central locking issue finally has been solved, looks like problem with the buzzer i fixed at ACC Shop... Damn he removed the socket/jumper and revert to original everything back to normal...i really pissed off

that fella still can say, will get a new set next monday so asking me to come n refix..get lost ler...

now i need to check my radio reception at SC...

my front door left side already got "krik krik krik" sound when driving, when i press on the door frame while driving it stops.... really frustrated with the noise..

TALKING ABOUT FC.............

i still remember my old WIRA SE MANUAL YEAR 2006...
RM50 can go average 300km, so
RM 1 can go 6km, if full tank about RM75, nearly can go 450km

Now my MYVI AUTO 1.5, i have doubt for RM75 how much i can expect
I feel should have bought manual transmission instead of auto...
I feel like FC is bad for 1.5 auto extreme, but maybe its soon enough for me to judge as my total mileage is just 500++ KM..

mine auto1.5 extreme as well just 10 days old,
i have krik krik krik noise at front left door when driving, when press at door frame no noise..
my radio reception not so good
and my FC is bad though, but just reached total mileage 500km
i really dont know what else problem i need to expect in future, kekeke
slowly loosing confident on perodua specially auto transmission
i wish i could trade in to perodua and take a new errors free manual back,

Hi bro, have u tried with FULL tank, how much it cost till u not able to pump in fuel in anymore ?

1st refuel i did for RM70 maybe can bring up to RM75 (never take down reading)
2nd refuel i did for RM65 when the range reached 28km, and mileage was 353km..

Now waiting for that 28km again to figure out total mileage i can get from 353km for average speed 80-90km/h (city+highway driving)
