wow!!
V22 already? Congratz!! rclxms.gif

I have question.. does the fuel consumption meter at the dashboard can be trust?

Almost a month i'm owning this car, but never calculate the fuel consumption..(too bad)
Now i'm gonna start to do it.

For 1.5 (auto), how far you would get for full tank (RM70)? (50% city, 50% highway)

If mine was premium it would cost RM1200 or higher laugh.gif I was looking for no-maintenance coats as certain products require you to go back for treatment to uphold their warranty. Sierra Glow is the cheapest in the list, after extensive checking. The more expensive ones would be Opti-Coat 2.0 (1.4K last quoted) and GZOX (didn't exactly find out the price but it was 2K++), with higher grades costing even more.

Imagine, paying a spa for my car rather than for myself. sweat.gif
*
Wow! RM500 for 5 years?

Need to add this Sierraglow into my list..

Current List : (it just a list, not sure when gonna get it..lol)

OEM Buzzer -- RM 85 (ask at perodua SC)
Custom coil mat --RM 150++
Sierraglow -- RM 500
Locktact -- RM 290 -----> do i really need this??
Rear ARB, front strut etc -- RM 600-+ (maybe can install one by one)

Mane nak cekau duit ni? haha Need to do some part time job i think..haha

I remember someone quoted the buzzer is RM50? I can't remember where but I want to get it installed as well.
*
I did go to the accessories shop..
And they offer me RM 35..
I really excited for it..
Ask them to install.. But after 1hour, they need to removed it back, said that the socket not fit nicely and causing my lock not working properly.
For eg : press brake didn't auto lock etc..

So sad.. sad.gif

It will very useful when come to sunny day..
B'coz i can't see clearly the lights when lock / not lock..
1 time lights blink = lock
2 times lights blink = unlock.. (correct me if i'm wrong)

The agent installed buzzer for me (as part of the free gifts we asked for). But I'm not sure whether it's OEM or what kind of buzzer, but two sounds for unlocked, once for locked. It's free though.
*
Erk..i juz put the buzzer name as OEM Buzzer.. b'coz at the box stated that.. icon_rolleyes.gif
Don't care whether OEM or not, as long installed it without any wiring modification, it shud be ok..

Maybe different shop different name..hee

my current ride, just got it last Sat...averaging 9.4km/l...
I think mainly coz I spend so much time warming up the car.
*
1 question..

Do we really need to warming up the car first b4 jalan?
Cause i just start engine, and then terus jalan..haha

I noticed, in viva, it got a blue indicator light for engine.. (i didn't read the viva manual book, so dunno what light is that)
but not in myvi..

You can drive your car, but take it slow for the first 5-10 minutes to let it warm up. Reasons given:

1) Your car warms up faster when you're loading the engine.
2) You don't waste fuel on idling. No distance done, no mileage gained.
3) Your catalytic converter warms up faster. CCs only start working once it's at a certain temperature, thus reducing emissions from your car.
*
QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Feb 23 2012, 06:32 PM)
I'm used to warming up my old car otherwise it will crank up during the whole journey. Now I just warm up a little because this MyVi takes 2-3 times longer to warmup before starting my journey.
*
Owh..Thanks for da clarification..

Since i always being late going for work, maybe i opt to go slow for the first 5-10 minutes..hee

Modern injection engine are not like those carbie engine of the yesteryear Bro... No need to warm-up 1st before jalan.. But better for the first 5-10 minuters of driving after left ur car stationary for a whole nite, dont straight away redlines ur engine.. Get the engine oil to lubricate ur engine at moderate engine speed 1st to ensure all inner parts get lube well 1st...
*
Thnks bro ikiey.. there is so much thing i need to know/learn about the car..

i wish i cud join the TT.. nvm, maybe 3rd TT i'll might be able to join..

this is one of my point getting 1.5 instead of 1.3. I prefer the 1.5 interior more than 1.3. Other than that, I believe 1.5 will give me more satisfaction in driving it.

Not really. There's only a few are having this problem. And one forumer here managed to get new set to replace the malfunctioning meter.

Nasib baik ade org sependapat dgn aku..haha

After a month owning this myvi (even 1st installment not due yet biggrin.gif ), i did'nt encounter such problem..Hope it will last long like that..hee

Is Myvi SE 1.5 Auto a good deal. I see it come with a touch screen right but no GPS add on . Is it worth it to get the GPS add on .

How much discount or freebies you all get for your MYVI ? Which bank have the lowest interest.

Thanks alot ya.
*
I don't get u..
What do u mean by no GPS add on?

Hi all,

I'm going to the perodua service center this coming weekend for my first 1000km service. I'm driving the Myvi SE 1.5 AT. I realized that there are two options for us to choose which are RM202.97 and RM393.65. May I know which package are better for first 1000km service? What about the next 5000KM and 10000KM?

Source: http://www.perodua.com.my/service/service-...00cc-amp-1500cc
*
For first service, u can get free labour service..
I think that price is inclusive labour charge..

Go for lower package i think..haha

wah now interes is lower than 4% so good ...
*
Sometimes, car model also effected the interest rate..

Maybe as an example : Viva vs myvi..
i think viva interest rate quiet high than myvi..

Maybe due to NPL for the model..

I got 2.9% Ambank with 1k downpayment only..lol

Ok, now i think i need to ask another myvi owner about a problem that i'm facing rite now..

1st) I got a situation when my central lock didn't auto lock when i press the brake..
Example scenario happens; when i pay a toll by open up the door, after that the door remains unlock eventhough i press brake many times..
Evrything seems good at early,i press brake, it locks..
But after on road for a while, this thing happens..

2nd) When i got into car, sometimes the light didn't auto lights-up. Or it will be On after a while (kdg2 lame gak tunggu..haha).. Is it normal like that?

Does anyone facing the same problem?
