Wondering what if changing the gear between L, 2 and D frequently but not N?
Will the gear box's lifespan is even worse than changing D to N at every single traffic light? @@

*off topic*
Anyone here have our K3-VE engine's ECU wiring diagram? or any possible way to get it?
Thx

It should be insignificant as well.
Any gear box, or gear system should able to withstand high cycle of shifting, if not why they are there in the first place.  smile.gif
A failure due to purely more "shifting" is not common.

If the gear is there, it let you to use/to shift!
Unless one is using L/2 and constant put in high rpm for long period of time, then different story.

Unless one is playing/shifting hundred or thousand per day for fun, may be it could.

I think this kind worry is needless if one is properly maintain the car periodically.
*
Ok ic ic..thx! =D

I'm the type of person that always use gear 2 for braking purpose and pickup/overtaking purpose. I would also drag it until 6/7k rpm then only I change to D
Currently I'm changing my ATF every 10k km, is that ok? or I just have to follow back the Perodua guide/advise by changing it every 20k km?
Would the aftermarket ATF like Motul, Amsoil better than Perodua own ATF in term of the gearbox lifespan? @@

do you guys notice the radiator is very noisy? just got my car yesterday, whenever the car is idle then can hear the radiator spinning  every 5-10 seconds, is it normal for Myvi?
*
Thats quite normal with air-cond on~
If air-cond off then there must be some problem with it as it would only start/kick-in when ur water temp. is around 93'C in order to cool back the water

Frankly speaking, with this kind of driving habit, one is better off with manual.  smile.gif

Gear 2 is not for braking purpose.  sweat.gif
*
But the problem with Manual is that it have clutch =(
which is a suicide plan for me if I'm driving a manual car especially on LDP that jam all the way all the time ><
I use gear 2 to brake as I'm too lazy to apply so much force on the brake itself, sometime is I need to have some quick emergency brake..although I'm using EK caliper with Brembo Max rotor 10" hehe laugh.gif

Hi -TJF-
I'm looking for comfort 1,juz wondering where can get it,coz my loc at jb.
There's very hard to find lower spring at the market here.
*
The most comfort spring is our OEM spring but its height is terrible..haha xD
Another option is that you can go for Eibach spring. My friend got sell the Eibach spring but is in KL area and he do shipping as well but the fees I think is bare by you.
Or you try to seach around jb area see which accessory shop got sell Eibach? its around RM7xx if I'm not mistaken

There are no point getting the Front Anti Roll Bar for Myvi 1.3 or 1.5 as the one which Perodua give is better than the Ultra Racing one as its meant for 1.0 Myvi =)

1.5 Stock extractor is 4-1 with cat-con, its the same as always from last time 1.3 Myvi~

Thanks TJF. 1 more thing to ask, how do i check whether the SE is original SE or converted from basic model?
*
If u're saying the PRE-facelift one~sry for that, I gt no idea for that..maybe ask some other myvi owner here? =)

but..if the facelift model, 1st thing u can look at the speedometer~the whole meter should be red colour.
next is the leather seat itself, the seat will have the word SE(red) sewed on it together with the shape of Myvi.
the floor mat would be the "maggi mee" type mat with SE(red) word on it as well and the colour of the mat is red and black.
the door panel's mat that are at the same level of the door handle(inside) would be black colour with small dots(red)
=)

If I'm not mistaken, that type of armrest nid to remove the casing start from under the handbrake that part till behind that 2 hole for cup/bottle only able to install the arm rest.
As u could see the armrest itself has the whole casing start from handbrake till end.

How about this type?
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2100010/
This type is just insert it from top of handbrake, can take off anytime by just taking the whole armrest up and no nid to use any screw
as does it suitable for alza or not, im not sure ><

Ivory White = those white myvi u mostly saw on the road. Need to take care it.

Pearl White = those myvi which is white but are yellowish! would look like old white car. Looks ugly~

Ebony Black = normal black myvi. Need to take care as well like the white, as the dust would be grey but not black~

Silver/Gold..if got la~would be the best! when ur car is dirty, it would still looks like normal until u go swipe with ur finger@@

Myvi aircond sux man! lol Afternoon with air-cond on(1) only la~like no aircond ._.ll
even the Viva aircond is much better than Myvi.. =.=
The fuel consumption between Auto are just slightly more than Manual~dont have to worry much =)
btw~Kota Damansara..jam every single day during morning and evening one when going out to bandar utama, u sure u wanna get a manual?

Wth.. 1000km svc need to change engine oil alrdy?!
*
I think is because that the car is new and then there will be a lot of the metal dust inside the engine oil since its new with the pistons skimming the wall?
even though with the oil filter, i dont think it will filter 100% of all the metal dust or maybe the filter is already full for hardcore driver, therefore 1st 1k service will need to change the oil too to make sure the oil is clean if not it would damage our engine?
Same as for 5000km service?
just my 2cents..no offence =)

bro.. ur ENGINE OIL(semi-synthetic)5w-30-4L    RM86

same as in this picture?

[attachmentid=2717289]
*
Thats the engine oil that perodua will provide for our engine.
As the price may be vary between outside compared to service center.
But if u service at the outside workshop, u wont be able to get the service center chop on ur service book which already void the car warranty and nxt time wanna sell car, cant provide the service record n the used car dealer would have a chance try to press the price as low as possible since u cant provide ur service record?
just my 2cents..no offence =)

Huh?!
Tht one on the picture I though is silver? just with flashlight thts y look white?
Btw the Silver one and the Gold one I dont see any differences between them..still the same SEMI-SYNTHETIC 5-30 engine oil O.o?
If u say gold one is for 10,000km but why my latest service which is 40k service they give me the silver one? lol

I dont think the service center allow customer to bring their own oil as i asked b4, they say they dono what oil customer would bring or use or whether it will damage the engine and then put the blame on them so cannot bring own oil~
