One charge with USB... the other charge with normal charger lo~!

That's right.

At this point, it doesn't matter how many bodies they release for E-mount, if they don't buck up and start producing more quality lenses. SAR reports that there will be 2 more E lenses announced during Photokina, a prime and a zoom. I'm hoping either a fast 35 or 85, and a wide angle zoom.

Just hoping to hell here that it won't be a "BLACK SEL50F18" and "BLACK SEL55210". I would murder b****es and choke presidents.

Wow, yes, I just read that. That's incredible.

"We kept the price down, by removing things that should be in the box. If you want a charger you'll have to buy it. At a way more expensive price than it should have been,"

i only wish for a fairly SHARP and COMPACT 18mm lens (or any wide angle) and E-mount will be perfect (for me).

Sony, you produce more NEX camera than the lenses, for God sake.....

There are 6 NEX cameras and 4 NEX camcorders.

There are 8 Sony E-mount lenses and 2 converters.

The math could go either way. biggrin.gif

Most of the time I carry 2 batteries and 2 mem cards. No problem.

Of course the charger is part of the cost. No one can produce a charge out of free thin air. All previous NEX owners also paid for theirs, except that its transparent because it's already factored into the nett price. Now they are offering you a way to save money by allowing you to forego the charger, this is a positive way to look at it. It is similar how people can sell body only , or body+ kit packages.

Some of us already have the charger and the additional could be redundant, unless the user wants to charge 2 batteries at the same time.

Get adapters, solves your problem but creates another problem. Too many lenses to use on the NEX, but insufficient funds to buy them all.

Have u tried to charge it for an hour before pluggin it into NEX??? I mean.. just as a simple test, to see if it powers up.

Also, do give the brand and model of the said battery. I think some 3rd party batteries don't work on 5N, but do work on the 1st Gen 5.

I still thinking 16mm for convenience only, coz it small n compact...I still not think it will be very sharp, anyway, just comfortable with the thin size hmm.gif
