since the nex-f3 was announced for launch next month im tempted to wait for that instead of the 5n. the dealbreaker would be the video mode.. the f3 can do 1080 at 60i and 30p if im not mistaken. not sure about the 5n tho, can it do 1080 at 60p?

If 49mm no stock, then just ask if they have a Step Up Ring. For me, a 52mm step up ring is pretty much permanently attached to the kit lens.

the price of nex-7 is holding me and many back i believe,i just need a 5n or f3 with hotshoe,i hope the f5 will be exactly that
its stupid that sony implement that acc port,they hav to design some whole new stuff for it instead of leverage what they have ie the existing line of alpha flash gun,panasonic and olympus acc port idea is much better

yeah seen that rumors float around recently,but big chance they'll be using the same sensor format as g1x,which is closer to m43 than aps-c
if they really go that way sony and fuji still has the largest sensor,that makes them the big brother in mirrorless camera

True... but:

- Sony's more focused towards grabbing PnS convert hence their body/lens strategy.
- Fuji... *sigh*... so much potential but tak boleh harap wan. EVERY one of their premium product also got major deal breaker

So only left Canon haven't show hand.

There's rumor that Canon will be launching a EF-S 40mm f2.8 pancake (why pancake if its not for mirrorless)... a little slow (ya.. 2.8 is not fast) but if that's true... means got chance that the mirrorless will take the EF-S/EF mount.

My concern for the rumored canon are:

- it could turn out fugly like the Pentax
- Canon's atrociously slow CDAF
