I just called them .They told me that the high speed internet account cannot be resetted.Even after i explained everything so precisely to them, that my account's privacy is at risk of being jeopardized. They keep telling me that it cannot be done. They did tell me that the account is locked to my port and location etc etc though. Can anyone confirm this for me? I don't want to have to call them again.

Damn, if I know rattan will definitely apply unifi from him. I apply my unifi from cold call. Now my installation upside down. The stupid installer do half way and left my place which my internet still not up. Today, I have enough already called the CS to complain and luckily the CS listen to me and will send another installer to fix and solve all my problem. Then suddenly the stupid installer call me back pula said tomorrow come solve my problem. Hahaha. Look like he heard my complain and sudah takut.
Once called CS my internet is up hmmm, must be heard my complain already. Now only the Hypp TV still haven't setup for me. Hope the stupid installer will settle it for me and bring along the long ethernet cable. First tipu me said no such thing as free 15m cable celaka.
Very frustration this 5 days. Appointment for installation on 04/02/2012 today already 09/02/2011 haaaiiiiiii.

I don't understand why you blame the installer. It's your mistake for not doing proper research. It Is what it is the installer can twist how they want. I order my unifi online without going thru agent and when installer come they want charge me rm400 for pulling network cable. They fix standard installation within 2 hours. If they delay report to unifi. As long as you don't sign the paper they can't charge you. If you are so pro you should get external contractor to do the cabling works they come they just do termination and testing for you. Stop blaming the installer it's real life they charge me rm5 per meter for network cable I go buy a network cable 30m and pay for labour also they take.

Most kids today they just want unifi but they never think how they should install and what should do so installer come get slaughter.
It's their way of making money the usual standard installation wiring is fugly nearly 7/10 just let them install ugly.

I just got my unifi installed today..10mbps.. But I don't want to use the router they give which is the DIR-615. I wanna ask is the DIR-655 is usable on unifi? Because I'm using that for my streamyx last time. Thanks.

First of, thanks to rattan (LYN forumer) who's been patient with me so I could finalize which package to sign up. In addition, it's great knowing forumers like him are willing to lay down their reputation on the line to help other forumers. The contractor he works with were efficient. The friendly 2-man team (young looking dudes) arrived 30 minutes earlier than the appointment time, listened to where I wanted the Unifi box installed (I wanted to make it not visible from inside the house) and got to work. All was smooth until TM's side had some trouble doh.gif  - one of the installers said there was a "mismatch". Not sure what it meant but he followed up the case with TM on the spot and it was resolved within 1 hour. smile.gif
Something I'd like to know too.. the word prorate was jargon to me. LOL! tongue.gif

Ok Unifi Billing Date is on the 21st of every month, so new bill will always start on the 22nd.

Another thing is, you pay UPFRONT by 1 month, unlike streamyx where you pay after you use the service for a month.

That pretty much explains the "shock" that unifi users receive when they got the 1st bill tongue.gif

anyone able to add their unifi service to TMRewards?

Usually how long does it take for TM to terminate your streamyx and phone after unifi activation? I tick on auto-terminate streamyx and phone using online application. It has been 5 days and my streamyx and phone are still working. Thks.

Unifi subscribers are given a free TM Wifi ID.

Does it mean that we can log on to TM Wifi spots (previously streamyxzone) free of charge with our smartphones?

Anyone tried it before?

My friend on blockbuster streamyx deal got a free TM Wifi Id, and he says he could log into the streamyxzone FOC.
