hi all i have a question regarding my unifi bill. I have applied for unifi on 12/1/2012. the installation is completed on the 28/1/2012.
now my question is from when unifi will start billing the service?

shouldnt it be on the 28/1/2012?

TM billing cycle is different. They follow their own system billing cycle, nothing got to do with the day u start using the service or the day u applied.

However they will prorate the first month bill.

Well you will get the bill in March for sure because your installation is already end of feb.

So called Standard installation and first 15m is free anything else You nego with the installer. Usually if u want proper installation can reach rm300 and above

if small unit then dont worry about the extra length

But i have 2 questions:
1. I am using the black router. TMrnd they call it. How do i change the password for the router?
2. Do you guys unplug the optical fibre when you guys go for work? In case of lightning.

Hello, I need some opinion from experienced people here.

The unifi contractor came to my house today, they checked my house and said that the hole that connects the telephone line from the manhole to the telephone box in my house is too small, so they need to do some drilling and thus need to charge me about RM600+ extra, I think this is quite unreasonable and suspect they are conning me, I tried to negotiate with them but they left immediately soon after and asked me to find my contractor and make another appointment with them. What's your opinion in this?

I'd would like to upgrade my 1mbps Streamyx package to VIP 5. First month subscription will be waived if I register online right. So to upgrade just register online and call up TM to confirm that I will be upgrading the line? Is it okay?
