on topic : should i bulk for another month?

Yes.

You have not gained reasonable amount of muscle mass to be able to look good when you cut.

Fix diet, lift harder. You shouldn't add more cals but maintain same cals, although maybe consider moving some cals from carbs to protein.

height: 180cm
age: 15th b'day in august

do u think i should bulk another month or cut now till 13%ish and slow bulk from there. i made a mistake for eating GODLY SURPLUS  doh.gif  (still clean thought, only 1 extra large beef noodle a week)  whistling.gif

15 y.o 180CM!? Darn good genetics sad.gif wish i was a little bit taller. I think i'm in the same boat as you, skinny fat, scare to lose muscle if cut, bulk scare to gain fat etc
For you i think it's better clean bulk first, looks better adding 5 pounds of muscle rather than dropping 15 pounds of fat imo smile.gif

In good time! Feel like my chest is lacking, or maybe it's not defined enough yet because of the high bodyfat percentage.

Never posed like this before. So it's a weird angle. Can't flex fully or the camera will get displaced. Lol.

Sick brah, just sick. Any idea what your bf % range is? I know a lot of people don't bother about it, but any idea what yours is?

Thanks. Well, I did a caliper check 3 days ago at 8ish%. I still have VERY VERY annoying stubborn bodyfat at the lower abs area. It's either due to cortisol buildup causing water retention or metabolic slowdown from chronic dieting. I upped my cals this week to a -10% deficit to see if it helps. The mini refeed of 5 plates banana leaf rice 2 days ago helped somewhat psychologically and maybe metabolically but we'll see.

Hahaha, dude, you're unbelievable, hats off, really. notworthy.gif
The fact that you know your body damn well and play around with your macros to get what you want is really an eye opener, for me at least.
Talking about water retention, do you control your fluid intake like some bodybuilders do pre-comp?

Lol, the PT's in my gym think I'm prepping for a comp. I said nah, terlalu malas untuk diet kau kau bro. Then they gave me weird looks. The thing is it comes with experience. Which is why diets work to a certain extent, then it needs to be individualized to tailor to that person's body.

I went on the conventional moderate carb, low fat high protein diet. Didn't do shit for me. Mine is high carb, high fat, LOW protein. Can you believe that? Like.... some people are sensitive to fat, others sensitive to carbs, I get fat on too much protein. If I tell you how much my protein intake is daily you'll crap in your pants.

Hence why there are diets like Dukan, The Zone Diet, Isocaloric Diet, Atkins, AD, Palumbo Diet, etc. They all work, if that person is suited for those macros.

You know what, imma start experimenting. I won't make drastic changes in my diet, but I wanna try and see whether I can find something interesting in the end about my body. I've always been one who's progress is best when I keep my carbs low and increase my protein intake a little. For th past few months however, I've tried stir frying veggies with olive oil instead of steaming them, and my bf has definitely dropped faster compared to what it used to. Now that you've mentioned what you just did, I'm starting to think that this might have been a catalyst or something to my fat loss.
I'll keep it up for a week or two more and then revert to minimal oil. This is really interesting bro, thanks for the insight! icon_rolleyes.gif

Yeah, there are even rare individuals who lose fat on a high alcohol diet. Look at mikehuan.

Interesting. Based on the amount of food you eat a day, how often do you poop a day?
