QUOTE(hoxy @ Jan 15 2012, 08:05 AM) Heh, I watch a LOT of youtube video and everytime I see a large bodybuilder pull some strength feat, I am never surprised! Quite the contrary, it is expected. It makes sense right? Bodybuilder who has muscle size only need to train their CNS. Quite obvious. dude, it was discussed before, calisthenics have a different objective than bodybuilding. doubt many here would want to be sub 50kg as you are. There is a big difference between pulling a strength feat while looking like a godzilla compared to looking just average. I'm never surprised... in fact, I like it. I like it because there are lots of other lesser looking guy than you who can express strength real good beyond their size (or your size). If you bring the standard down, actually I have already achieved OAC, but I am a perfectionist. One guy in our thread are really near to my defined perfection in OAP and he looks just... lean. =) Since you already set your mind on OAP, I'd say go for it. Good luck! I dont have any idea on aesthetics. When I see picture over here, I see lots of fine body... do you care how much we can bench? |

QUOTE(hoxy @ Jan 15 2012, 10:27 AM) Not everyone is my size. But there is other who are your size who done calisthenics who are lot stronger than you or me. It is not about size, it is about strength-bodyweight ratio. Calisthenics is not related to guy my size alone and there are guy who is big enough who really a monster in calisthenics. But calisthenics is not the discussion here. It is about strength and bodybuilding. I find it whether training to do deadlift or do one arm push up or pistol or iron cross or full squat or overhead press or anything... it is the same. It is an expression of strength. you really wanna do this? you've been raving on and on and on about calisthenics and the allmighty strength to weight ratio. I'm not interested in getting good at bench press. But I'm interested to monitor the numbers you pushing/pulling so that I can roughly compare how strong you guys are compared to others. I see lot of fine body over here... and lots of judgement being made... for me, I'm just interested to know, how strong you are who giving advice compared to others. Other things I'm interested is that how you guys judge ones body. Sometimes there is a shoulder, but you guys say need more shoulder la... things like that. Posted a picture of mine, so mikehuan, why not post a picture of yours and compare to me... point to me what kind of muscle are you looking. Let say if I'm an aspired bodybuilder... what kind of advice would you give? I've been intrigued by this question about my own body quite a while... guess what, we dont care. we want to be aesthetically pleasing and when people look at us, they know we lift weights. you're just here to make another argument of bb'ing vs calisthenics. its two totally different things designed for different purposes. im not shitting on any but its one own individual choice to do either. as for your pic, if you're an aspired bodybuilder, more mass. eat more. you're too skinny. my pics are all at my journal, first post. i keep that updated so dont bug me for pics. i'll post when i post. Added on January 15, 2012, 12:01 pm QUOTE(theCrab @ Jan 15 2012, 01:09 AM) lol you're pretty obsessed with traps and shoulders. i said body type. the ones who are already naturally big. big boned, as the chinese say. This post has been edited by mikehuan: Jan 15 2012, 12:01 PM |
