Light chin up day. =)
Form check on lateral raises. I don't do dumbbells for shoulder isolations. Exclusively cables. This post has been edited by darklight79: Jan 1 2012, 05:28 PM |

QUOTE(kenlee6 @ Jan 2 2012, 12:23 PM) This is my 1st time posting my pics.Pls comment on anywhere i can further improve. You've gained some mass. Overall. But you might have taken bulking too aggressively. No worries you've got a decent base there. Just watch the cals.2009 [attachmentid=2617987] Dec 2011 [attachmentid=2617991] [attachmentid=2617994] Added on January 2, 2012, 4:16 pm QUOTE(kenlee6 @ Jan 2 2012, 01:42 PM) You cannot use arm size as an indicator for a successful bulk. You use the mirror. Not saying you alone but one cannot flex fat. For example a 16 inch arm ripped and muscular is better than an 18 inch arm.which when one flexes, nothing shows. Don't be disheartened. These are bad habits you should Ger rid of when gauging your bulking progress. This post has been edited by darklight79: Jan 2 2012, 04:16 PM |

QUOTE(kenlee6 @ Jan 2 2012, 06:06 PM) Some side shots You have a good side profile. Shoulders and arms are.solid. Back kinda.thick. I assume you do quite a bit of rowing and deadlifts. You just need to trim bodyfat, bring chest up a bit more. Means don't go crazy doing.too much on chest. More is not necessarily better.I guess shoulder and arm still lacks definition and size [attachmentid=2618542] [attachmentid=2618545] |

QUOTE(kenlee6 @ Jan 2 2012, 11:58 PM) Thanks DL.Yes you are right i do rowing a lot and deadlifts too. Will try to cut down on carbs. So you mean bring the chest up by not doing too much on chest? Please correct me if i am wrong I hit.it as hard as possible, as infrequently as possible and as long as the weights are going up every week, I'm progressing. I do 6 sets total for chest. |

Started on call at the hospital from 12 noon yesterday to 6 am this morning, hit the gym with Lady Vanity at 12 noon. Sleep deprived (2 hours of sleep), carb depleted and glycogen depleted and still hitting PRs.

QUOTE(-Dan @ Jan 3 2012, 03:37 PM) I've never been below 10% myself, but from what I read of the accounts of some competing fitness people and bodybuilders is that it gets harder the lower you go. It is. The body wants homeostasis. It wants balance. Even as the bf% goes lower, reducing cal intake further doesn't do the trick. Hence I do a bit of macro cycling. I play around a lot with my diet. Cheeseburgers, banana leaf rice, bak kut teh, KFC, nasi lemak and all that. Cos if I eat clean I'll get fat, it's just not satiating enough so I'll be tempted to eat more. |

Not really a progress pic but it's a cutting diet my style. 2 nasi lemak ayam with a shitload of cake.

QUOTE(PhakFuhZai @ Jan 7 2012, 07:57 PM) There's your problem. I cut, I'm lower than 10%, around 8 plus and I don't do cardio. And even if i do cardio it's very infrequent and short like just 40 mins. You've lost most of your gains. You cut now and you'll look even worse cos you have so little muscle mass to lose. Truth hurts but I'm telling you for your benefit. |
