Hi,

How about air con? Do you notice the air con cooling kind of oscillate between cool and less cool, something like a cycle? I mean the air coming out from the outlet is cool, then turn less cool, and then back to cool again at different interval. When I say less cool, I mean you can still feel the coolness but it is something like fan mode instead of cooling mode. My setting is cooing ON, temperature 75% cool, fan power Level 1 or 2.

Hi guys,

Been using the EB for about 4 months now, and here's some of my not so nice experiences :

1. EB shook violently if going > 90km/h. Settled after send tyres for balancing. Seems that 2 of the tyres were of 'bad' quality.
2. Oil leak. SC changed oil seals and drive belt. So far no more leaks
3. Paint job very2 thin, scratches easily and can see metal. Just last week while refueling I accidently touched the car with the petrol nozzle and can see deep scratch oredi. Need to re-paint as can already see rust
4. The 'bzzzz bzzzzz' sound when hitting potholes is still there. Have sent to SC 3 times to check
5. I feel that the key remote is poorly designed. The red panic button keeps getting pressed if I put the keys in my jeans pockets and bend.

Anybody fixed a voltage stabilizer? Is it needed?

did u set your mode to "circulate"?
if yes thn your temperature only need to set to 50% enough already
75% is too high

How to check oil leak? I notice liquid beneath my EB on car porch every time I drove and came back. But that is water and I guess it is from air con, is this normal for EB?

hmmm....u mean cold thn not cold for awhile is it?
i think its normal since the compressor didn't pump cold air continuously...
when u hear "pssst" sound..mean cold air coming in..thn after that its wind
its normal....as long as the inside of the car stays cold..i dn't see any problem
and your temp...better stay at 50%+

and oil leak mean black oil
if water thn its A/C..normal

Well, recently i feel my aircon doesn't cool at all when waiting at traffic light, or theres hot air come out especially at big hot day. But when the car move everything go fine.

I got checked my radiator fan, both are running well. Temparature is normal 3 bars as well. Donno can complain to SC or not.

If the temp I all time switch to 100%, will it harm my air con?

if u complain at SC...they will do what most workshop will do...add gas
i dn't really know abt your setting in aircon....but if its set right, it should be fine
and yes...when your car is moving, the aircon is cooler cuz got wind(cool air) coming in
when you're staying still, its not gonna be as cold as when you're moving...this is normal for any aircon

and YES...setting it to 100% will 110% harm your aircon...even with the great aircon brand proton is using
this is why u see those car not even 2/3 years old...aircon already finish and have to change whole set(around RM2.XK)
because they directly switch the temperature above 50% when they say hot...best is maintain 50%...dn't go over and i can guarantee your A/C will serve u 6-7 years without service
if u set like 75-100%...thn better service every year....and i gotta tell u 1st, servicing this a/c ain't cheap

Agree with you smile.gif
Service air con is expensive, the parts like compressor can reach rm1k
And as usual, we know nuts about servicing air cond sure kena ketuk kaw kaw by workshop sad.gif
Better use it wisely

yes...whole set of the same brand(the A/C shop i go uses the same brand as well, he only uses denso and sanden as well)
becuz they know its good as well
whole set include labour is RM2.X K
but damn..its reliable and cold
servicing it...i dnt know other place...the shop quote me around RM400 becuz its hard to do
so better use it wisely
and during stop still, i won't say hot but its not as cold as moving....standing still mean sucking hot air(whether from engine or somewhere)..if moving, cool air blowing in from front

that i said already...if going forward, you're getting fresh and cool air from front(wind)..right
so when the car standstill or reversing, its actually getting hot air frm engine

i think the radiator works more often is becuz of the turbo..its cooling it
but if u dn't want it to be so annoying...use better coolant thn
toyota coolant, peregrine coolent or forged racing coolant...surely improve

i already put 100% mercedes coolant.. the blue colour before overheat.. but still, during normal drive, engine goes overheated.. hohoho...after change cylinder head, proton use the normal green..not 100%, but 70-30.. until now ok lor.. they also said its the cylinder head problem.. not fan or coolant or radiator.. try and check your radiator, when u go back.. if its dry, be ready.. if got water, its ok lor.. just my advice, from a person that have gone through..

Anyone here own an Exora Prime. I am interested in this variant due to the 2nd row captain seat. Any idea if the captain seat can rotate 360% and can be shifted front or back?
