I think my region is already set to Singapore Well, I guess I'll never buy anything from the marketplace until they change this stupid policy that prevents you from changing your country. So I guess I'll be FORCED to pirate stuff even though I'd rather pay for them. The concept of countries is stupid anyway.
When Malaysia finally gets added to the countries, I guess we'll be able to use the same page that's available to migrate user accounts which the Xbox users use.
Maxis is probably the only carrier that displayed their 1st Gen Windows Phone as prominently as their Android counterparts. (back about a year ago)
Wouldn't be surprised if Nokia and Maxis team up for some marketing blitz during the Lumia launch. I doubt it will sway many Malaysian customers (and carriers) though.
Malaysian customers IMO are not as design conscious as they are trend conscious. They would rather buy things that's in trend even though they're composed of ugly block of icons.
Android's success in Malaysia can be attributed to its price and easiness to pirate apps. (1 click root + transfer APK USB 'thumbdrive' style).
It will require more success overseas for the Windows Phone trend to catch on before Malaysians are willing to adopt it.
From the current market analysis, iPhone still dominates the trend.

I sure hope there's a migration tool. Else I'll be very upset.
I think malaysia is already in marketplace since i can browse it. However right now i cant not buy anything anyone figure how to buy apps without using credit card, maybe by paypal instead?
im HTC radar user, buy early 1 week before i found out Lumia 800 is already in Malaysia market sigh..
WP7 do not have any in box GPS software, Nokia Lumia come with Nokia Navigator which is free. And bigger storage , 8 gig, only 0.1 inch different to radar screen and No front camera and stereo sound loudspeaker make it less good than radar, but i still like lumia more.. =)
