Does anyone use the Facebook chat feature? I feel it's unstable... sometimes messages come, sometimes it doesn't.

QUOTE(marauderz @ Nov 28 2011, 02:48 AM) Seems to be very network dependant, if you're worried you can just start up the messaging up, and for a quick instance you'll see on the top left corner whether you're connected (it says signed in) or not (says can't connect to chat) Even when I'm connected and signed in, sometimes people fb chat me also I never receive. Some days I can keep connected, some days I can't. Lately, the more common problem is, I can send fb message, but when people reply, I can't see. I use my home's Wifi and U Mobile 3G also the same... hmm... |

Touch.facebook.com seems to be working 99% fine on my phone already:D
The menu properly pops up, all features are there. The only thing is that when click the top 3 buttons, the box is not properly rendered. Finally a more comfortable alternative to official Facebook app/ugly Facebook mobile. |

QUOTE(evilpuppy @ Dec 2 2011, 05:42 PM) any one here using WNM Live??? i got only fulat on my favourite list That's the whole problem. WNM Live is only as good as the amount of your real contacts are using. All my friends are using iPhone, none of them uses WP7. So the only thing that's remotely useful to me is Whatsapp. They don't even use Kik.i found some nearby WP7 user, and they know nothing about lowyat.net and what is sideload?? they ask |

QUOTE(Jcsy @ Dec 2 2011, 10:17 PM) i have been using Android for a longer time, and most of my data dependant applications are on Android .phone dialer, AppFlow, KL Traffic by TC - These are what I call 'must haves'.for now, im just making both complement each other on another note, those Transparent wallpapers are a cool idea but your signature ones dont work looking for more "MUST HAVE" applications for now any suggestions, Really good quality apps that I enjoy: 4th and Mayor, Birdsong, Nokia Drive(can only get this if your phone can sideload, or if you have the Nokia Lumia devices.), Weave, Tt Dictionary, NextGen Reader |

WP7's strict design code would mean these big updates will either take longer to come to WP7, or they won't come at all.

Radar is just about RM100 more expensive right? I'm actually quite interested in that budget WP device... but it's white... I don't really like white devices.
Since Nokia Lumia 800 is already launched in Singapore, will we see people bring them in to Malaysia? If the price is around RM1.8k I wouldn't mind purchasing it, but they are already selling at about RM1.9k in Singapore... Added on December 10, 2011, 2:17 pmI'm also interested in the Focus S, why can't they make it available internationally? I really don't understand Samsung's thinking. They already have the supply capabilities and distribution channels, and yet they made it exclusive to AT&T. This post has been edited by xcen: Dec 10 2011, 02:17 PM |

Don't forget, Radar is using the newer generation processor, so it's slightly faster and much smoother. And the battery life is also better than 1st generation WP device.

If you guys need smart dialing, can use .phone dialer. The best smart dialing app I've used. Since it starts with a . so it will appear right on top of your apps list. Just swipe to app list, launch the app, and smart dial your friends.

Touch Facebook on WP7 is still much slower and less fluid than on Android and iPhone.
Shouldn't IE9 be 100% compatible with web standards? Is it the Facebook engineers that are not adhering to web standards? |

Omnia 7 @ RM600. It's really worth it. One third the price of a Lumia 800. Less than half the price of a new Radar. Of course, it's 1st gen. But at least it's the best of the 1st gen. Battery life should be much better than HD7, but should be worse than 2nd gen WP phone. |

The only HTC WP7 phone currently available in Malaysia is HTC Radar.
The high end HTC Titan with 4.7" screen can be imported to Malaysia, the forumers here can help you find the dealer. You can also consider Nokia Lumia 800, the latest and greatest from Nokia. Extremely positive reviews, extremely beautiful design. |

Updating my Omnia 7 to Mango now. Then I'll try the new unlock method by WindowBreak. Hopefully it works.
