How many able to use that card? That is why very little discussion on it, unless for future D4 users. Somehow I got a feeling Canon might integrate a XQD in their 1DX final product...

maybe they wan target future market when XQD card start popular/ wide use in market...like nokia n8? until now still got new user come to forum hehe

No idea why they need to introduce a new format card. Would have personally preferred if they stuck with 2x CF. 1x SD and 1x CF also not bad.

i think the D4 development is pretty much mature/final stage compare to 1dx, otherwise they won't release it to market next month.

SD catching up with CF, so CF Association had to do something. Guess the new design is better, smaller too and uses PCI-E bus which has much more potential. Current CF already at maximum, unable to improve further already, capped at 100MB/s.

Actually i dun like CF card. my 1st dSLR was a d80 which uses a SD card. When I upgraded to d300 I also had to change to a bulkier and more expensive (at that time) CF card. I was thinking to my self, the CF card looks so outdated, still pins and stuff.

*jaw drops* I thought the 100MB/s (800Mbps) was the barrier for a CF based card... I'm wrong, now I wonder how it actually works...

went to Nikon BTS to test D3s & 35G...
i would i love D3s very much...
and d shutter is so strong...
and they said d D4 test unit will arrive most probably by CNY or latest a few days after CNY...

Items with international warranty have the warranty card similar to yours... but for bodies which has local warranty, it is yellow if not mistaken.
