Nikon is really slow in giving quotation... supposed to get it by 11/11/2011, now already 21/11/2011 and nobody seems to be following up for me >(

I think now I'm gonna call everyday -.-

As for ThinkTank products, I either go to Pro Images Photography or Yannick. Both my regular shops biggrin.gif

i got liao the quotation for cleaning sensor, replace top LCD on D70s and remove fungus on 70-300  tongue.gif
*
Ahh, the guy called me up. Told me Nikon PJ have not quoted because no part for the clear panel ._. damn. I want my flash back... >_< cause more TT5 is arriving... biggrin.gif

QUOTE(ikki9394 @ Nov 21 2011, 05:30 PM)
I reckon HK since they can sell internationally and yet still earning a profit margin... JP, taiwan and US rarely does that... Except some big organisation from US like B&H and Adorama but i reckon they have ceased selling international to some countries due to parallel import issue.

Is Yannick have the most competitive price so far? Im planning to get BG and battery from him... quoted me 440+150 including postage; so much cheaper than australia  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif
*
So far yes for me, Yannick's price is pretty competitive as well.

Great! do u know if Yannick provide any catalog for his products? Im still searching for a bag...
*
Just surf around for which model you're interested then get him to quote. Simple smile.gif

QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 21 2011, 05:55 PM)
i only saw the UD10 / 20...and a bigger one...UD40 / 60...cant remember which.
then a few of the modular lens and skin bags.
just a very small clearance only, dont recall any backpack.

the only backpack i like from TT is the rotation 360, but think no one has it brand new anymore.
anyway thought u already got a backpack?
*
I have the FS400AW, but my 16-35 cannot store standing up, and when it lie down it takes up a lot of space.

why dont just rearrange the dividers?
only backpack i got is a FS300 that im happy enough with.
*
Err, its because the bag isn't wide enough.. so the 1635 can't stand. Lens is kinda long LOL...

QUOTE(ikki9394 @ Nov 21 2011, 06:06 PM)
Haha too much to inquire... his website is on but does nothing lol!

Fstop guru bag damn expensive, last checked.

TT UD60 can fit alot, for its size.
Spam calls please smile.gif

Regular shop, but not regular see your face there also one....
Pro Images is online ma, technically, he's here LOL..

And btw, last check the UD 70 Pro memang can use the shoulder harness to make it become a shoulder bag. Only the difference with the newer version is some small things only.

Price dirt cheap for the old stocks now, waiting for few more old stock to come sapu.
*
That's because after you started working there I don't have anything to buy? LOL only recently is the PW system.

yea.
thats the only logical way i see to place it in.
even my 17-55 i place like that in FS300.
*
Oh actually I want it to be standing upwards, so the lens would take lesser space... my friend's ThinkTank backpack can.. i forgot which one already err..

i think once they see the price of D800 also they dont want to sell their D700.
afterall the low light performance good enough already, unless of cos D800 get D3 performance.
then after that ppl will contemplate between getting used D3 or brand new D800 which both probably at same price tongue.gif
*
D700 = D3's sensor tongue.gif, ISO wise they are the same... Unless you're referring to D3s then its different.

UD with my 16inch lappy hurts my shoulder. So at the meantime stick back with my crumpler. Lurking for Retro 30 with a good price now.

Retrospective series looks good especially the pinestone! Love it, but the 5 isn't mine sad.gif But then again it can't fit my D700 in :S

Wow! Never know you can just change the plate! My 16-35 last time clashed with my 70-200 and it caused a little cosmetic on the plate... now I know can change o_O

What are the charges like?

BUT this is a Nikon thread so... whistling.gif

That isn't considered heavy to me, try D700+MB-D10+70200VRII+SB900. sweat.gif

QUOTE(gnome @ Nov 25 2011, 07:59 PM)
LOL i changed a few more things but from what i read, to replace the A/M ring they have to remove the plate for mechanical access or something so that's why have to change. All and all kena RM707 total tongue.gif

Not sure how much the individual part price since they didnt state in the invoice, this time also didnt state how much the labour charges is like before hmm.gif
*
RM707 woh... pricey...

Totally agree, I would expect this is the trend to prepare for the pro photogs for Olympics next year. D800 for Olympics? ._.
