If u hv no contract due u may reactivate, or jjst open a new a/c,its not neccessary to go for SP to own beyond however with SP there are savings, compared to normal subscription where u incur rm10 for recording and rm 20 for hd fees, please go for PVR now its rm150 only. Can't I just change the decoder only ? .. |

They suggested me to take the SuperPack with additional RM2x.xx compare to the existing plan then can get the HD and AOD as well. But need to subscribe with 12 months contract basis .. wondering should I change or not coz the quality of the image is very bad when display over at my LCD TV .. |

New sports Channel coming to Asia...initial launch countries includes Malaysia...but not sure if it's a full channel or selected programs on Supersports HD channels....
IMG MEDIA LAUNCHES EDGEsport–NEW 24-HOUR ACTION SPORTS CHANNEL IN ASIA Mar 01, 2012 - Source: IMG Media IMG Media, part of IMG Worldwide, the global sports, fashion and media company, today launched EDGEsport, the first-ever 24-hour premium action sport channel, to the Asian market. Aimed specifically at the active and athletic urban young adult, the channel will feature top action from key sports disciplines such as surfing, snowboarding, BMX, mountain biking, skateboarding, Supercross, skiing, base jumping, freestyle motocross and wakeboarding. In addition, there will be films, documentaries, athletic profiles and biographies, lifestyle programming and magazine shows – all in High Definition. Adam Kelly, Marketing Director for IMG Media, said, “We are investing in action sports as we see the long term potential in this area. Our belief is that with the right approach and development this content will deliver the audiences of tomorrow for sports channels and platforms around the world. EDGEsport will help deliver the exposure needed for our clients to develop their distribution initially in Asia and then in the rest of the world.” Graham Fry, Managing Director Sports Production Worldwide for IMG Media, said, “Action sports already has a young dedicated following and we see huge growth potential in this genre so we are delighted to be offering this 24-hour channel. It’s also an exciting new challenge for our team based in Singapore who are responsible for the output.” IMG Media is producing the programming and distributing the channel globally and has already secured deals in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia with others in different stages of negotiation. The channel is being broadcast across various Pay TV cable, satellite and IPTV platforms. EDGEsport will have over 700 hours of content from launch and will show major events such as the World Snowboarding Championships, ASP World Surfing Tour, BMX Supercross World Cup Series and H2O racing. Other top events will be added to the EDGEsport channel throughout the year and the programming also has the ability to be simulcast digitally online and to mobile. |

QUOTE Arabsat Has Eyes on Measat Acquisition DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Satellite fleet operator Arabsat has entered the competition to purchase the satellite assets of Malaysia’s Measat, whose owner has long indicated its intention to divest itself of Measat to focus on direct-broadcast television, according to an industry official. The official said Arabsat has been trying for years to break out of confinement from its current three principal orbital slots, which are mainly filled. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia-based Arabsat is not alone in courting Measat. SES of Luxembourg has indicated a possible interest, and Measat would make a good fit for Eutelsat of Paris and Intelsat of Washington and Luxembourg. Measat has been expanding westward from its home territory — and its profitable satellite-television business — and has several orbital slots at its disposition. “The orbital slots are what is most attractive” to Arabsat, the official said. http://www.spacenews.com/satellite_telecom...yes-measat.html This post has been edited by Qash-M: Mar 3 2012, 05:54 PM |
