Thinking Asthrow will switch ALL channel into MPEG4 soon enough? Maybe. But seriously, since Asthrow 1st was introduce, the ABO channel become lameee. HD release on Asthrow 1st should've been kept for launches a new HD channel.

Exactly, asstro wl not launch any channels in the near future,nor wl switch to MPEG4,but compress to squeeze UEFA/OLYMPICS,yes! asstro wl do all possible to control sports,RISE's sharing content wl not change anything

I press okay nothing happened, change channel work but no Info title appear

just remove the ART, ABO, AOD, and FIRST, then u will get more space for new SD/HD channel to fit in.. waste of space la these channel, especially ART.. i wonder if there was someone who is watching it??? @15 is gone, so that a relieve.. i think that radio channel also can be removed, why spend double on ur electric bill when u can just but the freaking radio.. haiyaaa... so waste of space...

Atleast you can listen to it, even if Astro "potong" your bill.

ART/ABO/AOD and FIRST are really bandwidth sucking channels... if they had on demand style like unifi... they wont need all these rubbish channel... but too bad their on demand iptv is really shitty... and with tm having jeremy kung developing iptv... all i can say is... its a pin to astro's iptv grave... he was the one who developed hong kong's now tv...

A quick question here, not sure does anyone encounter such weird case before or not .. everytime when I use my cellphone to call out / receive call .. the image of the ASTRO channel that I am watching will catch interference ..

They can, but it requires that the decoder has satellite networking capability with enough bandwidth to stream HD. Assteruk's decoder cannot do that. IPTV? As long as assteruk is arrogant and won't let IPTV work on anything other than Time BB...

Actually, you can do on-demand using satellite using DVB-RCS and satellite networking (it's possible to deliver 20mbps HD IPTV over satellite too). Assteruk just too greedy for profit that they dun want to implement the infrastructure.

Right, but there's one problem with TM's IPTV (I refuse to call this HyppTV because HyppTV does not have all the channels the STB has) is that the rollout is too slow because of lousy contractors and TM being too shortsighted to see the need to rollout fast.

like wise, astruk is way to arrogant to cooperate with TM, even maxis and p1 cooperate with TM... why they dont cooperate with maxis home??? i heard in network section that their board of directors in both side maxis and astruk fight cuz maxis cannot allocated certain bandwidth for astruk iptv?? and i also heard "rumors" that astruk maybe available in landlines in September cooperate with tm.. but it just a rumors right??

Astro First and ABO is a waste, people dont know they are watching a shortened,distorted version of the movie,but sad to see there are people supporting it!
About the radio to me it does not make sense too,who wants to listen to thier crap on HTS.
JV with asstro is not easy thats why no one wants to JV with them they may copy your product and win the case!

Well, they do have some channels on radio that is worth listening (i.e. Classic Rock and Golden Oldies). But imo, those should be put on FM. If FM no place, AM also okay. Because Oldies and Classic Rock should be free like in Singapore.

Yes. Walkie talkie and hand-phone may cause interference. If the hand-phone or walkie talkie is too near to the dish or LNB this can happen. Sometimes an unshielded cable also.

No wonder it always happened when I was talking over the phone near to the decoder ..

my astro byond pvr decoder always hang and after that it reboot automatically. I just install it last Sunday and last night this thing happened. every 10-15min it will hang...anyone experience the same problem?
