What an explanation James.

I do have same kind of problem, I'm using HDTV and Yamaha amplifier, everything connected to my amp and only 1 cable from amp to my tv. All connection using hdmi.

The flickering sometime happened about 30sec, the display at the decoder show 'decoder off' instead of Dolby digital.

This only happened with hd channel, not all of the HD channel. It occurred mostly when I watched espn hd, hbo hd & nat geo hd sometimes..

What would be the prob, is it my hdmi? I never tried change my hdmi cable, I'm using normal one that I bought from challenger around 50-60 bucks

I press okay nothing happened, change channel work but no Info title appear
