QUOTE(RAMChYLD @ Apr 24 2012, 11:24 PM) Well, I think there's no chance this channel will ever show up in Malaysia unless miracles happen. Heck, their competition Adult Swim is already available in Asia for a few years (notably, The Philippines has it). But is Malaysia getting it? Well, that's according to Wikipedia lah. Apparently they switched to a local feed since 2008. Though the other entries in the page are blatant lies (TM does NOT have Disney, and it's not available in HD on assteruk), I'm inclined to believe that part about Malaysia's dedicated feed because Disney now has all sort of local crap, and the live action segments between shows is hosted by Malaysians. I want to know too. I scanned the spectrum manually (took 10-15 minutes) and can't find it. Is it even DVB-T1? Since T1 receivers cannot pick up T2 signal (but all T2 tuners are mandated to have T1 BC and thus can receive T1 signal). I cant find it either... scanned both in T1 and T2 methods, still the same set of channels found... =/ perhaps he's getting from satellite... there is rtm hd via satellite

QUOTE(RAMChYLD @ Apr 24 2012, 09:20 PM) Ow. So, assteruk is playing dirty and breaking their contract behind MTV's back? I thought ours is a local MTV Malaysia feed. Again, because Disney has set up local broadcast site and assteruk is getting the feed from them instead of the the real Disney Asia now. In other words, Disney is now practically "in-house" to assteruk, and I thought they were doing that with a lot of other channels. Comedy Central, I don't think it we can hope for it to show up in Malaysia unless SKMM (and gomen) reform. Given that the old generation are mostly one-tracked mind and will bising whenever there's mention of ganja (seriously. The Power Rangers fiasco was extremely embarrassing. Especially since the spelling is so different and "Morphing" truly has a innocent meaning. They might as well ban Matrix for having Morpheus, Morpheus P2P, Stoik Morphman and Kai's Morph), alcohol, sex, etc, the channel doesn't stand a chance. Especially with South Park which is Comedy Central's main draw. And the gomen will always listen to the old generation because those are the ones running the so-called "moral NGOs" like JAIS. I've seen myself the Disney Channel version on Thailand's True Visions (satellite pay-tv in Thailand which operating on the similar ways as Astro)... And I can see that Thailand version is similar on what we have in Malaysia (Astro), with all of those Upin Ipin, Disney Waktu Rehat and Boboiboy. But all of the programs only available in English as well as Thai language and subtitle (for 7.30pm movies). Perhaps True Visions also take the Malaysia Disney Channel feed and aired it on their pay-tv service. For Star World, Fox Movies Premium, same as Astro as well... But without no delay. Let's say, the movies should start on 9.00pm, but due to some censorship on Astro, they will aired it on 9.05pm, but True Visions will aired it straightly on 9.00pm and WITHOUT any local advertisement available.

QUOTE(smileguy @ Apr 25 2012, 09:34 AM) thanks pal, Awards? no big deal in malaysia anyway! Putra brand? Never heard of 'em. I suspect the center all will either take signal from Asia feed and inject their own segments and change certain programming as needed, or all centers have their own set of programming and need to synchronize with the schedule provided by HQ. Apparently many Asian countries have their own Disney feed/center now. So even Singapore Disney is not pure Disney Asia anymore. They're apparently trying to localize the channel for each country. Only country so far without a localized Disney Channel is apparently The Philippines (pure Asia feed) and Brunei (apparently share with Malaysia thanks to assteruk controlling their market as well) Edit: Apparently made a Mistake. According to Wikipedia: Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines have own Disney feed for the country. Thailand and Indonesia is getting pure Disney Asia feed. Hi Questions here. I don't know if my Q already been asked by other Ks. But I just gonna ask anyway. Time consuming to look at all the key words. Why my astro byond remote didn't function properly? It showed red light whenever I pressed all buttons except volume and numbers. The info/ subs/ arrow button all turned red light and didnt showed any changes. It really pissed me off since I can only change channel without knowing the next and infos. kids cannot change the language whenever they watch cartoons Okay. Lots of explanation. but the prob is why on earth it can't function and turn red light? Somebody kindly help me please! Thanks EDITED! Found the solution & solved! Thanks to your facebok group! JUST REBOOT! WTF. Hahaha. What a drama queen This post has been edited by angang_sara: Apr 25 2012, 12:41 PM

Purely Unrecognised Terribly Ridiculous Awards Somehow I believe its just an award to push a "feel-good" image. Mmm... nope... feel nothing... ooh... stomach feel-bad and will soon visit the toilet ! * Note : Previous comments removed. I was sleeping again ! Me bad. Smileguy already posted the link at "http://www.aaaa.org.my/activities/2011activity_002_governors.html" which shows the judges who voted for this award.Allowing all subscribers to watch all 130 existing channels for 10 days means absolutely nothing to me. The reason why I don't subscribe to some packages is because I don't watch the channels in those packages and to pay less. This post has been edited by jamesleetech: Apr 25 2012, 09:32 PM
